Scammers

Scammers, we bought our austrian and slovenian vignettas 17 july in south germany at Shell. The seller got registration papers, and wrote it in. We didnt check the bills and didnt notice that he did write the letters in registration wrong cause of the tourist season and stress, we didnt want to stall the line.

Now 18 August we got a bill of 120 euro from austria cause we didnt have vignette. we are waiting for slovenian bill too…

Amazing that the registration plate/number didnt exist in Denmark but they still issued a vignette to non existing car by that number….

Modern highway robbers!!!

I was traveling to Wien

I was traveling to Wien, got into country from Slovenia. We didn't see the that you can buy vignette at the border so later on we stopped on gas station i bought it.
Now we recieved the tiket saying that our vignette is valid from 18.07.2023 to 27.07.2023???

What the actual fu.ck. I stopped on gas station and bought vignette, why would i buy vignette for this period currently on a highway???

I sent my bill with the label on my windshield. And nothing. I have to admit, I didn't expect from this kind of country to do that. But apperently every country is a shitholle

Organised Gang of Thieves

We bought vignette before entering Austria, at the board, from their official representatives. We bought for more days than stayed. And after few months we receive letter that they issue fine 400 euros for not bying vignette. What???? I appealed, explaines. After deadline of payment they answer that they are sorry but deadline is over and they have no connection with this case anymore. The authorities inour country will contact us. Again- WHAT??? THEY DIDN'T EVEN BITHER TO SEE OUR CASE.
Organised Gang of Thieves!!! Shame for the whole country. Shame on you, Austria!

Asfinag, license to fool tourists

I bought a digital Vignette when I was close to the austrian border but mispelled the plate. Called Asfinag and they said to buy a new vignette and then send a mail (!) to ask for a refund of the wrong payment. Only after several mail and several days these guys responded that they would not refund because one cannot change plate. I think they do not have idea of what customer service is and they want just to fool customers, especially if foreigners. That is the so called austrian welcome to tourists.
Update. After a while they refunded me, however they advice that I had no legal right to the refund which has been made only for reasons of goodwill. I give one more star for this, however I do not support this paternalistic attitude,

The service is so bad ..it hurts

The service is so bad ..it hurts. I bought a year vignette at a booth on the A9 highway..I couldn't find the receipt, therefore the ASFINAG cannot change the 89 months "goedhaben" on my new numberplate. They can only send the necessary documents to that specific booth at the A9 where I bought the vignette, but then of course I have to drive there, but with the new number plates I first have to BUY a new Vignette, or I can write an email and wait 3-4 weeks before they (ASFINAG) can send the little piece of paper so I can change the Vignette to the new plate. I mean SERIOUS...are you people soft in the head?

Unfortunately, such a deception and ...

To give deception and a waning?

They also put the phone in our faces, the people who work at the information point.

Where is the state of Europe and Austria and is there no authority or institution that monitors them?

We bought a digital vignette for 6 countries on the internet and I paid for all 2 months.

for these countries (CZ.SL.HU.SR.BG.TR.) we also received a letter before we arrived at the registration point of UngarischeAutobahn inkasso GmbH,

They sent us two receipts stating that you don't have a vignette and that you will pay € 127.50 on the receipt, and I paid because it was taking them 60 days and the price was going too high.

Allegedly this is for Austria (Austria) and Hungary has not had a vignette for 2 months I paid about € 27.80 per country (full € 166.80 for all)

Why is there no warning for this country if we sell them, which annoys us?

With no choice left, I turned to the lawyer and will sue both the criminal complaint and payment of my loss.

My lawyer said there are so many people with such deception, he said let's wait because we have to hire a lawyer from Austria

He said that we have to hold the case so that we can open the case in this country as well

Very stupid system

I was about to buy the digital vignette and these geniuses decided that it is possible to buy a valid one only if you buy it EIGHTEEN DAYS before the transit. Eighteen?
What is the point of a digital vignette if people cannot buy it a couple of days before entering Austria? I think they are confusing the digital potential with a regular fax machine.
