I subscribed as a present for my 7 year old grandson (he had a Beano annual for Christmas and really enjoyed reading it). He looks forward to his comic coming through the letterbox each week and reads it from cover to cover. One happy grandson.

I’m fed up with the Beano club taking money from me for a subscription/membership that I’ve never signed up for. I only wanted the offer of 10 Beanos for £10 and no more.

The fact that is on the post is something to look forward to for my son and we are saving some money doing that way. He loves reading them and it’s a nice break from screens, and gives us the joy of sharing a laugh together with all the jokes, etc.

My son absolutely loves his weekly Beano and rips it open as soon as it arrives in the post, every time! Having got the 5 for £5 introductory offer I am still happy to pay the standard subscription cost now I’ve seen how much he enjoys it

I ordered it for an 8 year old boy who isn't very keen on reading/books in the hope that he will realise what fun you can have with the written word and cartoons
