Slow admin and non receipt of postal confirmation
I’m not sure if DC Thomson themselves are to blame but it took a few days rather than hours to get an email confirmation of my subscription (having chased it) and I have still never received the letter of confirmation in the post, despite it being indicated that it should be received within 14 days. On querying this they said they’d send another one but I’ve still not received it now over 2 months on.

Thanks for leaving us feedback James, Sorry to hear that you are still waiting for the Beano. I've had a look for you and I can see that the subscription is due to start from the issue dated 14/03/2026, so not long to go now, you should expect to receive this in a couple of weeks time.
My grandson looks forward to reading it every week.
My grandson had a Beano annual for Christmas and really enjoyed reading it so I have started a subscription for him to have weekly comics. He looks forward to it coming every week and reads every page.

It’s an excellent magazine for kids, lots of great stories and information. It’s fun! I loved it as a child (60+yrs ago) and I now buy it for granddaughter (8yrs). She looks forward to Mondays, when a copy is waiting in her car seat. Granddaughter has also read my 1964 Beano annual.

This is the most exciting time of the week…
This is the most exciting time of the week, every week. The kids run in from school looking for the Beano and then I don’t see them until they’ve read it cover to cover. It’s then read hundred of times after that with the funniest stories relayed around the kitchen table.
