Easy to use jug, easy fill, fast fill, and the bottom tap is brilliantly handy for my use. Its sad I had to come to this, the water in my area is awful! Heavy and makes me genuinely ill to drink, I've relied on bottled water for a long time. The water has also destroyed a number of kettles in just 3 years. Since using this the water does still taste weird on its own, but it no longer makes me feel ill, so its clearly working! I'm impressed! With squash I can now drink tap water in my area without thinking about microplastics and forever chemicals quite so much! I got a new kettle and am also using the filtered water here too, as I learned though boiling water can help reduce forever chemicals, it makes micro plastics more dangerous! So the only counter is a filter! And my coffee's and tea's taste so much better for it! Genuinely! After many uses there is no sign of wear in my kettle, my old kettles showed wear almost instantly with limescale and scum! So its looking like it will save me money on kettles too! Happy days! Glad I looked these things up, and happy in my end choice and results! Fast service all round too. Thank you. Clearly water companies need to do so much better for us!

The design is pitiful indeed, as it does not hold two litres of water at any one time you have to keep topping it up with water which is a bind.... and at the tap level, you can not get a cup or a glass or a pint mug under the tap; you have to have it hanging over a table or countertop and not practical for children, plus there is a certain amount of water remaining in the bottom of unit as the tap is not placed in the ideal position, but apart from that is is a sound unit to filter... Get a proper designer on the product and think logically... OMG, a good idea spoiled by no thought in product practability....

Not a good design. I bought this because I needed a larger jug. I have one in the fridge and this is to replace one for the counter, to use for food prep, cooking and the kettle. From the second day of use it has been struggling to filter the water through. I was told, by customer services, to bang the jug on the counter to help. This is not what I expected to have to do, as I have had 2 previous styles of jug that didn't have this problem and filtered through in a few minutes or so.. The water stays in the reservoir for ages, and doesn't completely drain through either because the bottom of the reservoir is too flat and some water cannot get to the filter. I've had time to have a shower and get dressed and only half the water had filtered in that time, left to its own devices. I had to spend an additional 5 minutes or more occasionally banging the heavy jug on the counter, and that's to get it only half full. I've spent 20 minutes or more just to get it full. This is not helpful when I need a lot of water quickly while cooking. Also the handle is not comfortable to hold, the front, where the tds tester sits has sharp edges, it needed to be rounded so it doesn't hurt your hand, especially when full. Maybe I have a faulty filter, I don't know, but I do know I wouldn't recommend this style of jug.
