Good pasta - lousy customer service
I have been ordering pasta from the De Cecco website multiple times, but no more. The De Cecco customer service is too lousy.
4 weeks ago, De Cecco by mistake sent me a shipment meant for another customer. I wrote to them to inform them of their error. It tooke De Cecco several emails and more than 3 weeks (!) to realize, that the had sent me pasta, that I had not ordered. What took you so long?
The obviously wanted the pasta returned. No problem.
Returning the pasta was a hassle and a mess. I recieved another 5 emails (!) with detailed requests and instructions on how to return the goods. De Cecco did, however, not bother to read and understand my replyes to their questions and requests and therefore wasting my time by sending me email after email.
I ended spending a lot of time (way too much!) trying to get them their pasta back.
How much do De Cecco want to bother their customers for mistakes they make? Aparrently, a lot! Is it so hard to come and pick up a faulty delivery?
