Follow- up support

I have bought 6 pairs of KYBUN shoes and sandals over the last 6 years, spending about £1,500 in total. I have been pleased with the shoes in general, though they are very heavy.
The laces broke on one pair of trainers after just 2 or 3 wears. In spite of numerous emails, telephone calls, online chats and even a recorded letter to the CEOs ( which was never even acknowledged) over the last year. Even though eventually offering me a refund of 20% of the purchase cost, I have still received nothing. Their excuse was that PayPal rejected the payment three times (as that was my original payment method) but that has never happened with any other company! They did not inform me of that until I rang exasperated. Still nothing, in spite of offering my bank details, which they refused to accept.
VERY poor after care service.

Kybun pale in comparison with MBT

I was a big fan of MBT until the brand was sold. Kybun, having been engineered by the same inventor, I thought it will be at least as good as MBT. My £250 Kybun shoes caused me a couple of blisters after just an hour walk (this issue had been mentioned in a previous review, I saw later ). Big disappointment! It is a shame, as the sole seems to be really comfortable. Skechers should ask £500 for their washable Memory Foam Lite-Weight, under these circumstances :)

I am extremely disappointed with Kybuns…

I am extremely disappointed with Kybuns and their response to a faulty pair of trainers they supplied me.
I bought my second pair early May and on wearing them for the first time I had to return home after a half hour of leaving home as was in so much pain with something rubbing my heel. When I took them off I had a huge blister and when I looked inside the heel end of the trainer there was a lump under the lining that was not in the other right trainer or in my first pair. This was an obvious manufacturing fault and I wrote an email explaining what had happened, asking for advise. That email was completely ignored. I decided to send them back at my own expense requesting a new pair. These are not cheap trainers at £264 including postage to ship to the UK I felt I needed to at least have a pair of trainers I could wear with comfort and without causing such pain.
Kybun have refused to send a new pair unless I pay a surcharge of £50.00, they will part refund £205 which leaves me nearly £60 out of pocket or they will return the faulty trainers to me, a pair too uncomfortable to wear.
I would like to say the sole reason for purchasing a second pair of Kybun trainers was because the first pair were so comfortable and because Kybun has an excellent reputation for comfort. I am absolutely shocked that they are not prepared to stand by their statement of fact which is "The Swiss air-cushion shoe from kybun walk-on-air In kybun shoes you walk on a soft, supple air cushion. You feel light as a feather and have a tremendous sense of pleasure".
What a joke, two weeks later my email response refusing anything other than a full refund or replacement pair has gone unanswered, I have no trainers and no refund.
I will never, never buy another pair of Kybun trainers and I will never recommend any of my work and walking friends to either. What a terrible company
