The recipe has definitely changed. I’ve been buying this every week for the last few years. It is now far too watery and the flavour can only be described as sour. I hope they change it back.

If I hadn't seen it coming out of the tub I would not have believed this was Ramona's hummus. Watery, and poor flavour. I have been buying it regularly and used to describe it as the best hummus I'd ever tasted - I would now describe it as the worst. I have no idea why they have changed the recipe, but I won't be buying it again.

This was my one treat every week I have no other vices, every week I could consistently rely on this humus to deliver satisfaction. No more! It is runny and lumpy with a big dollop of disappointment. Ditch the water and aquafava give us the real hummus back!

Disappointing flavour. With an unrecognisable after taste which makes you ponder how on earth can someone muck up something so simple?

When it first came out Ramona's houmous used to be delicious so as you didn't mind paying a bit more for it. Unfortunately the company have mucked about with formula and it doesn't taste nearly as nice. Especially for the price. I was told they've added aquafarba (i.e. watered it down to make it more 'cost effective'). Consequently it now tastes tart and acidic. Better to go for the Turkish Meze houmous or Sainsburys So Organic Houmous - better products at better prices.

Take the bad stuff out and let us enjoy it as it is!

Saw this in supermarket, gave it a try - wonderful!! Jalapeno Hummus. Love it🙂🙂

I used to not enjoy eating humous a lot, but when I tried RAMONA'S humous I fell in love. It's a perfect snack for anyone! THANK YOU RAMONA!!!!!!!

Started of some years ago loving ramonas
I messaged the company asking why they had changed the recipe which they denied
It's sloppy wet and unrecognisable to the wonderful hummus it used to be won't be buying again

Amazing!!! So tasty, my daughters and I love it, we met Ramona in Soho and tried her hummus and now we can’t get enough, highly recommend!!!

Not possible to give it zero stars but I would if I could.
Had my birthday here as heard great things from others. However, safe to say the staff completely ruined my birthday. Ramona and Firehouse combined.
Ramona the service was awful, food didn’t come or came late and cold. If we reminded the waitress about things that hadn’t come yet, she would roll her eyes at us. Expensive bottomless brunch that was in no way bottomless as you were allowed 1 slice of pizza for the food and the rest is extra (which they fail to mention to you).
Went next door to Ramona after, where the host argued with me and was exceptionally rude about being slightly late, we only were so due to the fact the service at Ramona was so bad and slow and things didn’t arrive that we ordered.
We were stood around waiting for ages, eventually got a table, the manager came over and apologised on behalf of the girl who was shouting at me.
We ordered food and drinks which were food were on the house for the inconvenience. As we tried to leave once we were finished. They brought over a bill, which we paid even though we were told it was on the house for the awful service we received. We wanted to stay for the entertainment in the evening but just wanted to go somewhere else after that.
Overall, disgusting service and attitude from the staff. Quality of food and drinks was poor. See no reason why anyone would want to go here.
To add, the next day after I wrote this review, I received an email to say that they are trying to say that my review is incorrect and isn’t about this place. The absolute audacity of this place.
Don’t waste your time going here.

Used to be the best humous ever, no compromise in our family. We’d buy several tubs in the weekly shopping. The last few times I’ve been eating it and thinking ‘I can take this or leave it. Weird, I used to find it so addictive’. Asked my wife about it, who had been secretly experiencing the same disappointment. Google search established that the recipe has changed. Who in their right mind does that when they’ve basically cornered a market with a product people were willing to pay extra for? Rapeseed oil? You joking? Thanks for changing the recipe, we’ll save a fortune on humous now as we won’t be buying this ever again. Of course, you could change the recipe back, and we will. But it’s unlikely we’ll notice as we’ll be eating a different humous.

Tried it for the first time having noted on the ingredients that there is no extra-virgin olive only rapeseed oil. Also contains tahini as all hummus does, but doesn’t specify what percentage. It’s perfectly fine, but indistinguishable from any supermarket own brand of hummus. No comparison whatsoever with a brand like Sabra or indeed hummus that you get in Middle Eastern restaurants which is a creamy nectar. This is far from being that.

I'm in love with the jalapeño houmous it is amazing, so fresh tasting with a little kick...food of the gods.

Amazing houmous!! Most other British houmous is super bitter no matter the flavour but Ramonas is perfectly balanced.
