Great products but useless customer support... also we need a direct drive system for ps5, cmonnnnn already or do i need to buy a whole new ecosystem?
My experience was really good.
I had ts300 over two years and didn't have any problem.
Also I had TCL M pedals and after about 20 months it was some electronic problem time to time (acceleration pedal gives input without input on pedal).
They checked it and gave me brand new set (it was at the very end of guarantee period).
So for me, very good customer service, good price for value.
Purchased a Warthog throttle from Thrustmaster. One of the buttons failed after 10 days and with very little use. Thrustmaster accepted that it was a defect and offered me two options - return the unit to france (at my cost) or accept a replacement part which was "easy to install". Naturally, I opted for the latter.
Part arrived after two weeks with no instructions. Luckily I'm an engineer by trade and manage to work it out but, the part was a devil to get in (if you don't know how to do it) and required the use of a hot glue gun and soldering iron - two things most people wouldn't have.
This experience has put me off buying any further products from TM, which is a shame because the TPR was going to be the next addition to the sim pit. Time to look for alternatives!
Father bought me one a decade ago. Solid hardware, nothing broke despite 200 hours on FSX and now I use it on war thunder. Don't know anything about customer service but good build quality.
Grandson purchased a TCA Sidestick Airbus Edition end 2022 from a local Thrustmaster dealer. Stick faulty but still under warranty, contact store and told they no longer sell Thrustmaster items. Contact TM support, send all the details, s/number, video of fault but my grandson doesn't have the cash receipt from the stick. Response from a multi-million company can't help your 13 year old grandson. Unbelievable
T-Pedals stand and T248 bought direct.
Packaging was missing 4 screws from the T-Stand, huge uphill struggle to try and just get the 4 screws sent out.
Ended up returning the whole lot and buying Logitech Via Amazon. Very poor end customer support
Coincidently the same Customer service staff that has already been mentioned.
The T248 was a great wheel until after about 40 hours use the force feedback motor failed. I've emailed product support and received an auto response (ticket#) but have yet to receive a human response.
Edit...They make it very difficult to submit a warranty claim. Now they want a video of it not working. What the..........
A copy of the original invoice along with note describing the problem should have been enough!
Very poor customer service, I purchased a TCA Thrustmaster Side stick which failed after just a few months of use. I contacted customer service and provided all the information they asked for including 2 videos of the issue. However, their support stuff made it so difficult to get any type of support by asking for additional videos of the issue. In the end, I had to give up. It was a waste of my time. I contacted Amazon, the retailer to file a formal complaint about Thrustmaster Very poor customer service!
It is very good quality and i use it everyday and i love it its the best i bougt t300rs and i love it
T300 base failure cost to ship to "FRANCE" $200 plus CAD repair and return 130 EUROS Don't buy Thrustmaster
i have the thrustmaster t428 and on f1 2023 just about every race i go into i have know feedback at all. even after resetting the wheel still know feedback its funny tho how if you press the home button then you have feedback just not when you are playing.
Thank you to Dean from Rangemaster for his good service and help offered to get repairs done to my Rangemaster Cooker.
extremely bad response time. I get a feeling knowledge around their products is not awesome. I have an Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle that obviously have an HW fault. But they are still in troubleshooting mode (asking for very basic tests). The case has been open now fr 2 weeks, with no progress.
A RJ12 removable cable is an essential and yet fragile item in Thrustmaster world. This is the cable from the peddles to the hub without which motion is nonexistent.
It looks like a telephone cable BUT with an offset tab (left side rather than center position). Not only did Thrustmaster choose to make it different but they also chose to not make it available as a replacement part.
The consequence: OBLIGED to BUY another Thrustmaster peddle (excess of 150$) to have access to a 10$ cable.
Even worse, since I can’t confirm that it will suffice, will this represent another useless expense.
Considering absent customer service (see other reviews) DO NOT BUY THRUSTMASTER
I just received a TCA Captain Pack X Airbus edition joystick and throttle. Immediately after placing the order last Friday I noticed a price drop for same item by $50. Been trying to get hold of someone at support to see if they could reimburse me for the difference but nobody there it seems after 1 hour and 40 minutes on the phone. Have emailed them also but not very hopeful judging by the reviews here.
Thrustmaster let's put everything away accept the fact that you will soon be able to take the controller market over. Eswap x pro are you kidding me in love after my 10th Xbox1x and 3 of my series x controllers hit the dirt in maybe 3 months tops. Please do not let this slip through the cracks replaceable premium modules. Configure to work on ps, PC, Xbox. If you can just keep on this track you could own the controller market for consoles. You guys rock now please heed me do not let this idea slip through the cracks. Use it daily on the pc now cannot even begin to appreciate the modules have gone a year now no replace. Did buy 4 spares just in case. Fantastic job keep this going own that market.
Refusing to allow a return of my T818 base, even after notifying them I had an issue within the period specified in the Consumers Rights Act 2015
The listed date of my experience is only the most recent. I've tried repeatedly to contact Thrustmaster support, and never find anyone home. My problem is simple, a missing HID compliant driver for my Thrustmaster Warthog flight stick. My Thrustmaster throttle works fine, and I'm sure the stick will too. But I can't find a driver for it listed in Thrustmaster's downloads, and I've yet to find a way to contact them. Clearly they don't want to be bothered since they make contact next to impossible.
Purchased T248 and pedals became defective. Returned for warranty repair. Same issue 4 months later. Now Thrustmaster is stating the original warranty expired and want to charge me over $200 to fix it again with no guarantee the 2nd repair will last any longer. No warranty at all on repairs, just original 1 year. Terrible customer service and terrible product quality.
My experience was good.
I had to return my Warthog controller as it has a fault.
Email support was a bit slow but they arranged pickup from UK to FR and back, all fixed, in about 9 days.
