Zero attempt at looking after customers

Dreadful customer service. I bought a T150 force feedback wheel and pedal set about a year ago For my son. Within two months the accelerator pedal spring gave out and the pedal went limp. TM were initially good in providing a replacement spring and good instructions for repair. Same issue repeated again within a few months. Contacted customer support about three months ago to request another replacement spring, but all I have received are automated replies claiming they’re very busy. I have followed up 3 times and still not received any response. No other way to contact them. Meanwhile my son is unable to use his wheel.

Phonedesk is as dead their products…

Phonedesk is as dead their products with a cheap corona excuse. So filled in a request form. 2 weeks later, submitted tons of info. Another 2 weeks of waiting and just a phoney autoreply.... TP3A springs defect.... A few dollars, just put them in spare part section of your webshop, save all the trouble.... Never again

Ordered steering wheel

Ordered steering wheel, got it without clamp which is used to attach wheel to table.
Contacted their support, after 15 days they sent me link where I can buy it.
I'm still baffled.

I ordered and paid for a Thrustmaster…

I ordered and paid for a Thrustmaster T300GT set £370 for my son, all good and received within days. The only trouble, it was DOA, completely dead. Four weeks of being ignored, fobbed of with software "advice". Eventually to be told that Thrustmaster wanted to take the wheelbase and repair it, probably another month without a usable product. Anyway I said no, take it back and full refund please. They refused to issue a collection note forcing me to pay to return their junk to obtain a refund. Never again, there are no excuses for the level of service they deem acceptable. So if you're considering parting with your cash to this outfit, think again, theres a company based in Germany, who may not be perfect, but their products and customer service are light years ahead of this shambles of a company.

Where are my orders?

On 23-8-2020 I ordered a Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas 4 Joystick from Ryman's who had the product listed as 'in stock' on the website, with a delivery date of 26-8-2020. My delivery date came and went with no further communication from Rymans or Thrustmaster and my order was never delivered. On 27-8-2020 I cancelled my order for failure to deliver and requested a refund. I then placed an order for the same product from Currys who also had the product listed as 'in stock' on their website, with a delivery date of 'no later than' 3-9-2020. It is now 9-9-2020 and I am still waiting for my order to arrive. On 4-9-2020 I contacted Currys to ask where my order was and they told me it was coming direct form the manufacturer, who would email me with an explination as to where my order was. I have not recieved any response. Thrustmaster have failed to communicate any problems with fulfilling my orders.

I am still waiting for my refund from Rymans and I am still waiting for my order from Currys. In summary I am down nearly £160 and I have nothing to show for it. It appears that Thrustmaster have taken my money and ran with it.

After about 18 months of ownership it…

After about 18 months of ownership it broke still with a valid warranty Thrustmaster refuses to replace/repair. I only use the wheel perhaps 1 or 2 nights a week for maybe 3 hrs each time or less. The left gear shift leaver snapped and as it broke the lever pressed against the wheel and the internal part of the lever pushed back onto the back of the wheel casing cracking it with the lever falling onto the desk. In an email from the shop I purchsed from, they acknowledged this internal part is a known failure however the cracking of the case is not. As this was first time for this time occur (that they are aware of) Thrustmaster refuse to replace or repair the wheel as they say I deliberately broke it. The attached picture of the rear of the wheel is as it was when I first looked at the brake. It certainly wasn't deliberate. For a known issue Thrustamster should replace. I found several examples of users having the same issue with even a recommended repair. Buyer be aware. Thrustmaster support is not forthcoming in supporting their warranty or standing behind their product. I thought I was upgrading from a Logitec which proved trusty for 12yrs, a fool am I.

The absolute worst customer service! NO STARS

I purchased the TMX for Xbox less than 6 months ago. The tightening clamp broke (which should get replaced via the warranty) and I emailed them about my problem in early June. Two weeks later they emailed me back saying it was no problem and they would replace the broken part. All I had to do was email them back with proof of purchase, my name and address, and pictures of the broken part. I did this the same day I received their email. I thought everything was cool but I was wrong, so wrong.

I didn't hear anything back until last Thursday August 13th!!! The worst part is the email said, in a nutshell; sorry its taking so long Covid-19 is slowing things down. Lets us know if you still need help with this issue. What the hell? of course I still need help! I'm livid that a company like this would have such terrible customer support. Even in a pandemic this is unacceptable! Do yourself a favor a buy from another company. Yes their products are good but god forbid something goes wrong because you'll have to deal with these guys in customer support.

I put a ticket in to buy springs for my pedals. They responded within a day. I provided them the information and it took them two weeks to respond. I provided the answer and two weeks later they’ve yet to respond. Worst customer service ever. I will never buy another product from Thrustmaster.

Dead Unit on arrival, Horrible Customer Service

Ordered a Thrustmaster P310, got delivered fast BUT the unit is dead :/

Tried different cables, whatever was said on the internet, Xbox, PC, couldn't get anything out of it :(

Looking for UK support number result in a list of closed office. No opening time whatsoever and email announce a 15 days delay which is probably optimistic considering the complaints on here.

Update: Lines have re-open, managed to get someone very rude on the phone.

Returning the unit for a refund, at my cost and they didn't mention that the address to send it back to was France.

Paying the post for an item that is not working and be shouted at by their customer service is a nice final blow from their part.

Don't think they care much for their customers.

Bad potentiometer on t80 steering wheel…

Bad potentiometer on t80 steering wheel made it constantly turn hard left. This part commonly fails and is used on both the steering and pedals. It should be a simple 50 cent part. But their pot has a proprietary 5mm shaft instead of the industry standard 6mm shaft. So replacement is nearly impossible. They refuse to sell you a replacement pot and expect you to buy a whole new steering wheel instead. Customer service by email takes weeks to have them tell you this.

Responding to e-mails takes multiple weeks and is a boilerplate checklist that was utterly unhelpful, when pointed out, it took several more weeks for them to send an identical e-mail again.

Thrustmaster T150 Pedals - Broken Accelerator Pedal

Apparently I'm another victim of the 'floppy accelerator pedal'. I've probably only used them for 60 hours, so I'm surprised they've broken already, but after reading other reviews it seems like a common fault. Been trying to resolve this with their customer support team for around 1 month now without any resolution and multiple emails from myself containing photos of the fault, proof of purchase etc.

For such a common fault, which just needs a spring replacement, I'm surprised Thrustmaster don't just post out for free as soon as someone mentions the problem, regardless of warranty. It's hardly doing themselves any favours not replying to their customers and consequently pushing them to write negative reviews about their products.

Poor product poor service

Bought a racing wheel for use with xbox shortly after plugging it in the wheel spun itself to the left as far as it would go and wouldn’t budge.Left it whilst trying different “fix methods” and then xmas happened so too late to return to store.

Thrust master support seems to consist of two people.The website advises 48hrs to get email back.I at one point waited 5 to receive a response stating the label i had been waiting for was sent a colleagues email who was now off work so another would have to be requested from France HQ and i would hear back in 24hrs.Another five days later i’m still waiting. It has been over two weeks since i first contacted them and they don’t even have the wheel yet.Poor product poor service

I purchased the thrustmaster tx leather…

I purchased the thrustmaster tx leather edition wheel with the pro pedals. Big mistake! The wheel does have a nice quality feel to it but that's as good as it gets im afraid! The throttle pedal came loose after 2 days, then the FFB became very inconsistent, very light, due to the motor overheating I suspect. Anyway, I upgraded the firmware as apparently it is supposed to be a fix for motor overheating but nope, it's just as inconsistent as before. Do not buy this product. I've sent it back for a refund.

WORST. SUPPORT. EVER.

I had my Thrustmaster TMX wheel clamp's screw handle break off so I couldn't mount the wheel. I asked my local reseller for a replacement they said no, I contacted support they said yes, asked for my details and I gave it to them. Never got a reply so I opened a new ticket showing my information. They said: We've not ignored you and we're still waiting for your information. (I wrote the information in the message!) I was outraged. They're scamming their customers and I'm never buying a thrustmaster product again.
