Waste of time and resources for sellers

I thought it cant get worse than Amazon for sellers, but TikTok shop broke all expectations! Everything has been painful, from setup of account to adding products, to fulfilling orders a d getting fund released. Not to mention the system errors that pop up from time to time, the rigid platform, and the pain in trying to speak to someone from support team.

Would give zero their is no protection…

Would give zero their is no protection on anything that you buy this is a platform for scammers and thieves when looking for a refund after being scammed out of £36 i kept getting told ticket being made no refund this is what I got 21:28 4 .

Just looked up trustpilot and this seems to be the pattern on refunds and people never receive them will send mv correspondence to mv bank as well thev can put it through as fraud

TikTok shop is slop and a scam

Holy scam tbh. Like the pictures of what I get are amazing but I only get 25% of what I was supposed to get. Also horrible service just go in real shops instead or buy stuff off of eBay or Amazon. Half of the TikTok ppl are scammers

Purchased a wig for a client and when I received it the raggedy looking chewed off unit was absolutely nothing like the one in the photo. I contacted them was given a return label to take to UPS. I took it there before the 30 day limit and received a receipt from UPS. This was late January and I’ve heard nothing at all from them after almost a month. They are refusing to contact me and I still don’t have my $49 that I paid for the unit. I had to refund my clients money to keep her from submitting bad feedback for me. Tik Tok is the worst place to order hair or anything else from. The blind seller pretends not to know the difference between a 18 inch and an 8 inch as I was sent a thing raggedy unit from a raggedy seller. One side was 8 inches long the other side 6 inches and a thin 10 inch in the back! So they have my money and the raggedy chewed off smelly wig!! Just an awful company with the worst sellers in the world. I will tell all my customers, colleagues and family of this scammer, money thieving company!!! Not one response was rendered to me by so-called customer service. Wish I couldgive this loser company and the loser seller a -1 star or a 0!!!

The in app marketplace that is in tiktok app enables me make product purchases directly from vendors online through their digital marketing in videos and livestreams.
The platform is for a fact convenient as well as fast paced in aiding in product discovery especially when they go viral.

They will not refund you even with proof

Second time they have refused a refund for a product that wasnt delivered. Breach of contract under Consumer Rights Act 2015, but they dont care. I've done a chargeback with my bank now and will provide them all the proof I have. Item delivered with proof photo to a white pvc door, I have a blue wooden door. Royal Mail admitted it was delivered to my number the street over, and it was unretrievable as lady denied having my package. Explained to seller AND tiktok and both refused replacement and then refused refund as they claimed it was delivered to the address provided, depsite courier admitting it wasn't. Absolutely terrible, not worth some cheaper prices on there.

Absolutely crap customer service

Absolutely crap customer service, if you’re a seller or buyer.

Don’t even bother with them as it’s a broken record and they have no intention of fixing it.

I’ve been selling on TikTok a year, believe me find a better platform to sell on if you value support as a seller as they will not look after or protect you when things go wrong.

Ordered some bedding that said 2 weeks…

Ordered some bedding that said 2 weeks delivery. Its now been 38 days and its still in transit and support argue its because of weight has to be shipped by land.

So?

Why even bother selling it then? if you cant send a simple bedding set to UK within 2 weeks let alone over 30 days maybe don't be a seller. Demanded a refund.

A Scammers perfect Environment to Scam

Terrible customer service, which allows their sellers to violate the Consumers Act via false advertising. Using Tik Tok Shop means you basically gamble between getting an inaccurate item or an item that doesn't exist. And due to their lax consumer protection laws, you will very likely lose your money. Avoid and buy from reputable shops.

Do not order via TikTok. Customer service disgraceful. Currently out of pocket and no items due to it being left outside front door in full view. Customer service didn’t want to know or help.

How are these even operating

How are these even operating? Have reported to trading standards I’d recommend you do the same. I get the Temu type cheap tat they sell but there’s a certain level of quality you do expect on somethings. It’s the customer service that lets them down it’s absolutely criminal. Any issues with orders they will reject your refund/return request immediately. Poor attitude and even when you contact a seller they will just close your case and pretend not to receive your replies. 0/5 never again.

TikTok shop is the epitome of worst…

TikTok shop is the epitome of worst customer service. I have bought several products and when it comes to the delivery carrier, I had no issues with UPS or USPS, except for Uniuni which reflects how a bad platform is teaming up with a bad carrier to create a disastrous customer service. Because of Uniuni , I have lost 5 packages that were delivered to the wrong address. Each time I had to provide a proof of my address many times to be able to get a refund. Despite the fact that this was a repeated complaint, Tik Tok did not address the problem. Instead of avoiding this incompetent carrier, they continued to dispatch them and they continued to drop off my packages at the wrong address. Each time this happened, Tik Tok took longer to give me a refund . Recently, another order was lost and Tik Tok has not approved my refund despite knowing that the package was not delivered to my address. . How long such a reckless and careless approach to such issues will last if you don’t take action against it?

Accused me of Fraud

Deactivated our Seller account because it had been inactive. Went to re-activate it, provided videos, photo id, company registration certificates, bank statements. And then they accused me of "Fake Qualifications". Please can someone contact me to resolve this farce.
