Initially on placing the order I received a warning text from my card provider warning of "suspicious activity" referring to my purchase from Shop4Gin.
Never received any notification as to when my order was being dispatched, courier details or tracking number which is standard operating procedure with online shops.
Emailed regarding estimates delivery date, didn't even show me the courtesy of a response!
Ended up having to contact the distiller who I turn contacted Shop4Ginon my behalf. Excuse given? " lost by Post Office"
I will NEVER use this company again, as the saying goes "once bitten twice shy"!
Definitely a buyer beware company!
I await with anticipation the delivery of my order!

Was initially a bit concerned after reading the previous reviews about poor delivery but I cannot complain about this fast and free delivery.
A shipment delivery email would have been helpful though.

I work in the NHS and I ordered a small gift for a NHS colleague as they had a hard time. However three weeks later the item wasn’t dispatched and the response from the company is lacklustre with almost no care or acknowledgment of the impact on the company’s failure.

Bought some miniature gins more than 30 days ago and still nothing, emailed and no responses and currently no refund!!!

Ordered for a 70th Birthday present 5 weeks before the date paying extra for a gift bag and gift tag asking for a note to be written On the tag. Missed the date by over a week no message on the tag and bottle not inside the gift bag.

Rubbish service would not recommend

After waiting for 12 days with no news, I requested an update or a refund. No response but I did get the refund. Complete waste of time. They need to hire a 3rd party to deal with customers or better still don't sell products they don't have. Do your research WhiskeyExchange has a good reputation so went there instead.

I have done many orders with Shop4Whisky, their prices can be very good, although, they are not quite as competitive as they were a couple of years ago. One thing I don’t like is since they have recently redesigned their website you can no longer see all the offers in one place, there is only a ‘clearance items’ section which only includes a handful of whiskies that have no boxes, the only way to see which whiskies are on offer is to scroll through every single bottle they sell.

The biggest problem though is the lack of communication, when you place an order all you get is a confirmation email, they don’t give you any dispatch information and therefore you don’t get any tracking information or anything so you have no idea when to expect your delivery. This is a pretty basic and essential thing to do and one the reasons I don’t order from them as often as I used to. Packing is also not the great, however, I have always received my bottles safety.

My only issue the only contact medium that works is the phone, I don’t have a problem with that but suggest site advises contact only by phone. I had an issue which was resolved by phone but no replies from email or msn

Terrible customer service. I placed an order as a gift and received no despatch email so tried to contact them. Facebook messaged twice, emailed and rang 3 times. All blatantly ignored. Awful company who don’t seem to care about the customer at all.

Excellent! easy to use site, easy to place order, received notification of payment receipt and then confirmation that order was processed, 48hrs later it was delivered FOC. Will definitely use again.

I have ordered on two occasions and never had any problems. The prices and variety are very good as is the free shipping option. The only reason not to give 5 stars is the lack of tracking information - would be nice but as I'm not paying for postage it's not a big problem. (As long as I receive the items safely in a reasonable amount of time - which I did!).

Only 3 stars because they don't provide tracking so you have to wait at home everyday for the package to arrive and nobody answer the phone or email for days.

Unreliable on line seller. After made an order on their webpage my credit card data, according to Mastercard, has been at risk and I have to cancel the use of it for online shopping.
