They owe me fifty pounds. They’ve confirmed they have my returns parcel but say they’ve lost it in the warehouse and all I can have is a credit note. They’re appalling with returns. Everything was incorrectly sized. Just a massive faff.

Untrustworthy
It's sickening to see how much AI is used on the website. It's hard to determine what the clothing would look like when it's almost all pictured on AI models. When scrolling through reviews, I see hundreds of AI videos accompanied by 5-star ratings. Even though some clothes look lovely, I can't bring myself to trust such a shady business.

I wanted to give Cider a second chance
I wanted to give Cider a second chance, but unfortunately I've now had two bad experiences.
With my first order, my ZIP code contained an error, so DHL automatically returned the package to Cider. Since the package was returned to them, I expected a full refund. Instead, Cider only gave me store credit for about half of the order value. Not even a refund, just partial store credit. It took a lot of back-and-forth with customer service just to get this compensation. In the end, I accepted it because continuing the discussion had become too frustrating and draining.
Now I've run into another issue. I used that store credit on my next order, but the way Cider applies store credit is very confusing. I understand that the sale discount is applied to the original retail price. However, once the discounted total is determined, I expected my €71.14 store credit to be deducted from that amount, since store credit is a balance on my account, not a discount coupon. Instead, it appears that my store credit was also applied against the original retail price, which doesn't make sense to me. If I have store credit on my account, I should be able to use it to pay for the amount I actually owe after all discounts have been applied.
Trying to get an explanation was just as frustrating. The AI chatbot kept giving irrelevant answers. After finally reaching a human agent, I waited a long time, only for them to repeat information I could already see myself. Before they answered my actual question, the chat was automatically closed.
Very disappointing customer service and very little transparency. After two orders and two unresolved issues, I don't feel confident ordering from Cider again.
