Ordered at the start of November 2025

Ordered at the start of November 2025, the items never showed up, so I charged back via my bank, they reached out assuring my that my items were delivered despite me telling them that they didn’t arrive. I went back and fourth with support for over a month and go nowhere to the point they just stopped replying to my emails, fast forward to the end of February 2026 and they are saying my item was delivered and asking if I’m going to pay for it. Not only do these guys not care but they clearly do not have time for your support requests, or to offer any form of reasonable service it seems. Way beyond a joke at this point and for them to be asking me for money 4 months after my order date which never showed up, is frankly a joke.

Generic response, don’t reach out to their support team, they don’t contact you back unless it’s after 3 months of your item not arriving and them asking you to pay for it still. These guys are actual morons.

Amazing product my husband loves it

Amazing product my husband loves it. Did come way later than it was ment to arrive to a point of a refund issue had occurred. But when speaking to the company direct the were very helpful and understanding whilst providing clear steps on how to resolve this issue. Overall great small business to get behind

PRETTY SURE I JUST GOT SCAMMED!!!

PRETTY SURE I JUST GOT SCAMMED!!! I placed my order 02/07, the next business day being 02/09. Since 02/09, when I enter my provided tracking number, it continues to say “Info Received.” When Support was still responding to me, they did say that my package “is now with the courier, and is on its way.” They also stated that “the tracking should update shortly as it progresses through their system.” So I’m just a little confused. Will I be receiving a new tracking number then?? Another issue being that I paid extra for Priority Shipping. This stated that by paying extra, my package would be delivered between 3-10 business days. We are now at Monday 02/23. It has now been already 11 business days. When I put my order number in, it STILL says “Info Received.” Support refuses to answer ANY of my questions! I’ve emailed them at least 4-5 times since they last responded, and NOTHING!!! So I just wanted to let everyone know that “support” is nonexistent!!! And also, if you buy from Game Lab, you’re most likely going to get scammed (as it seems like I am).

Not a 'scam' - but a badly run operation

If you - like me - came to this page fearing you have been scammed, then I can reassure you that you probably haven't. However you are dealing with a company that have had massive issues with struggling to fulfil orders (particularly around Xmas time), and I get the impression are only now recovering.

If written on Xmas Day, this would have been a one star and *AVOID - SCAM* review without question.

At that stage my order was 3+ weeks late, the delivery status stuck on 'Order Ready', and worst of all the publicly available email was bouncing back and the phone number dead.

Other reviews on Trustpilot seemed to confirm that I'd been scammed, and to make matters worse I was getting endless targeted ads on Facebook from Gamelab which had the cheek to address accusations that they were a 'scam'. I thought not only were they scammers, but they were brazen about it.

To my surprise - in the new year, after a chargeback had been processed by the bank, the console arrived, some 5-6 weeks after order date. A few weeks later, their customer service (at the previous failing email address) got in touch to query the chargeback.

By this stage I'd already ordered another console as an Xmas gift to my partner, but rather than send it back I decided to negotiate paying 50% of the fee, which they quickly agreed to. I'm sure I could have ignored the emails and paid nothing but felt better to resolve amicably.

As a result of an eventual courteous exchange, and the fact that the console does indeed exist (I can't attest to its long term quality but girlfriend seems happy enough!), I will generously grant a 2nd star.

But this isn't exactly a hearty endorsement if you are considering placing an order with this company.

We got our items as ordered

We got our items as ordered, though it took 4-5 weeks.
The company seems to have had a lot of orders as was Christmas time and hence had difficulty in communicating back, but in the end it appears the company is working hard to rectify this.

Worth the money

Honestly this is the best thing for your nostalgic fix. It's honestly more convenient and less expensive then trying to hunt down a system then finding the games (especially pokemon) the colors are vibrant the battery lets your play for hours! The owner is super nice and will get back to you in a snap if you are having an issue.

I paid for the faster protected delivery and still have not received my console after 15 days, I messaged them to ask for updates and received nothing, the tracking link I received for confirmation of purchase no longer works which now looks like a scam to me.

WARNING: SCAM COMPANY PLEASE AVOID

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Item was ordered on 1/28/26. Tracking updated to “Shipping info received” and never budged off of that state. I inquired a couple of times about the whereabouts of my package. Kept getting what I believe is an auto-generated response - Item was shipped late due to demand but the item is with the courier - at first I suspected the package being stolen but now I believe it was never shipped in the first place.

I started inquiring about a refund or replacement and got the same response just in a different wording. Tracking stopped updating so I don’t believe it’s correct.

Switched to asking for a refund, and I have not received any more updates. I believe this is a straight up scam company and they need to be reported to the BBB for fraud. I believe if we all mass report there may some chance of recovering our financial losses. Money is too tight nowindays to let stuff like this pass.

SCAM COMPANY AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Shocking company. Gutted!

I ordered 2 WiFi dongles and a case for my boyfriend over 3 weeks ago and have had nothing. Contacted them via email and email bounced back. Contacted them via instagram and they replied and were very polite and nice but have now been ignored and still no order has arrived. I am very upset by this as I bought 2 consoles at Xmas and would’ve been a returning customer. I want my money back or my order asap!

AVOID. Suspected scam company

Ordered almost a month ago and I’ve received nothing other than the original “tracking” email. My tracking info and order number states “not found” when typed in to the gamelab site. Paid for priority delivery between 3 to 10 days but received nothing. Customer service ignore your messages via the website. Suspect this is a scam and would encourage everyone to avoid this company

Fun but inconsistently glitchy

I love the console and what its intentions are, but mine glitches out a lot. The controls go on the Frits and I can’t move my characters. I can play pokemon and it’ll start moving me without me even touching a control!

Faulty item and zero response for refund

Received mine after Christmas (said it would arrive before). The console constantly crashes and, after much Reddit research, it turns out that the main SD Card's for the OS are cheap and prone to crashing. The only way to fix this is by purchasing a good quality SD Card and manually installing the OS onto that. Really not acceptable as I don't want to dish more money out for a product that is faulty in the first place.

Emailed multiple times for a refund or replacement, but its now 3 weeks into February and still had no reply.

The standard response of "email us your order number" is not acceptable as I have done this multiple times, using the details from your website and subsequent order emails. Please publish an email address that is monitored and responded to!

UPDATE

After following the advice from Game Labs stock response, I recieve a message saying:

"Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:

Game Lab
Your message wasn't delivered because the recipient's email provider rejected it."

Fraud/Scam DO NOT BUY

I wish I could give this company 0 stars. Placed my order on January 28th. I ordered it as a Valentine's Day gift for my wife and I because they had a "Buy One, Get One Half Off" deal. It is now February 19th and I have not received the product. I sent an e-mail asking about shipping to which no one responded. I currently have another e-mail sent to them that I'm pretty sure will not be answered. I strongly encourage everyone who has been victimized by this company to keep their friends away. Buy an Anbernic off of Amazon and you will be much happier with way better customer service and much better shipping. By far the worst company I have ever seen in terms of literally every aspect.

They shipped me my two and the first…

They shipped me my two and the first worked GREAT. The second didn’t work. I spent over a month trying to get helped to eventually be ghosted by their team after sending videos and pictures. They haven’t remedied it. Please purchase a different product, as I even PAID for shipment protection and NOTHING was done. Bummed cause if it would’ve helped I would have been more than patient. Now I’m 4-5 months down the road and my brother Christmas present doesn’t work. Please give someone else your money.

DON'T USE GAMELAB!

Ordered 22nd Jan still not received item (19th Feb) apparently it's 7-15 working days delivery, now tracking doesn't work. Customer service is appalling still no update to when/if item will ever arrive.

Not Arrived, Tracking Stopped Working, No Response

I ordered on 27/01/26. It's now 19/02/26. Still no sign of delivery. As of last week the tracking information they ask for that I provide does not work. The website claims 24/7 customer support. After 6 days I still haven't had a response to my query. If they reply to this, I wouldn't know who to contact since I've already contacted them via the link in my emails, the link from the website etc.

Late and no communication

I placed an order on January 30th and it has still not arrived. To make matters worse, the tracking and order numbers no longer work. I have sent an email to the support email, left a message on Facebook and Instagram, but I have not had a reply.

Update 10 March 2026:

It has now been 40 days since I placed an order. Whilst someone has been in touch, and a small gesture of refusing a protective case I bought has been offered, the communication has been shocking. Despite repeated requests for an update on my delivery and, God forbid, a delivery date, I have been met with hollow apologies and avoidance of my question.
