Very bad customer service

I think it’s shameful how Shopgate treat me and my company. I’m really disappointed about the way they have informed me about the contract termination. The customer service is unacceptable - they were not longer interested in us as a customer but they didn't inform us about changing their policy and market. I don’t get why they are still selling the app in other countries than Germany - I have received data processing agreement in German, although I have signed contract with them in Polish. Really bad expierence.

Shopgate is the WORST platform ever. DONT TRY IT!!!

After setting up a "time to talk" and getting pressured to sign up, I finally agreed to use shopgate. It is horribly overpriced ($600 per month). While they did a good job making an app for me, there was quite a few problems. It took several weeks to get my problems finally fixed. I was bounced from one low level tech person to the next. After all the problems were sorted out it was fine. BUT then when I tried to update my website, they no longer supported opencart 2.0. I was told "we have bigger clients using shopify" so you are low on the priority list and we dont know when we can get around to helping you. I finally gave up and made my own app. BUT then again another problem. I learned that they would not give me any of my customer data, so I lost all of my customers using the IOS app. Then once again they wouldnt give me the information needed to update my android app. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

The initial experience was nice, they would design the mobile version and start working on app afterwards. Typical process. The problems started occurring after few weeks when mobile site would be acting up on their site, with either no payments going through or products being removed from the mobile version altogether plus many more.

We stayed while working on the Apps. The apps were total disaster, with so many issue that we have dozens and dozens of emails between tech support explaining why either the products are gone or payments are not working or many many many more issues.

While their local tech support was doing their best, our company took a very bad hit in terms of how we look and present ourselves to our customers as we were losing their trust and patience.

I discourage any serious business person to engage with this place as the communication toward the end was just not enough, the product is simply awful and not worth the hassle nor your business reputation.

Also, no refund given, credit card charges were disputed. Now the attempt to use collections against us.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience
Worst company I have ever worked with. Product has not worked since day one, and they stick you with a 12 month contract. Terrible customer service. Tell you problems are fixed and the are not. Never call you back. Sale people have no idea what they are selling. Bad experience. Stay Away!

Terrible sales practices

Their sales people started emailing me out of no where and insisted on a "time to talk". I never signed up for their emails and after making very clear to them that I didn't want to be spammed with "we create a mobile app for your company" offers they still kept emailing me. No unsubscribe button, no respect whatsoever for other peoples' time.

Shopgate dissapointing

Our experience with Shopgate was very disappointing as their 3rd party mobile platform is full of flaws. Nice idea, but non functioning on an on going bases, we lost a lot of money, orders and time struggling to get their software to function correctly on an ongoing bases. Their tech support is one of the worst we have ever encountered with response times to simple issues from 1 to 2 weeks and at the end providing fake solutions, which results in complete loss of orders, time, money and clients. The headache having to dealing with these people at Shopgate can only be described as nightmare every time something goes wrong. Over all not worth the trouble and pain you have to endure with them and then have nothing to show at the end of it, Went through this several times with them, until I realised they are just wasting your time, while they charge tremendous fees, taking your money for their flawed and trouble riddled software issues. Can not recommend this company to anyone.
