They need to let you know that your…

They need to let you know that your order will come in 3 different boxes at 3 different times. We threw grandma’s old bed away thinking the bed was coming altogether. FedEx placed the first and second box on the side walk. Ridiculous. I called and talked to Marty to explain my disappointment. And it was a lot of excuses.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I understand how frustrating it must have been to expect the bed all at once and then have the shipment arrive separately.

The manufacturer ships the bed in multiple boxes, and all pieces are released to the carrier at the same time. In most cases, they are delivered together or within the same delivery window. Unfortunately, FedEx separated the shipment in transit, which is outside of our control and not the typical delivery experience.

Regarding placement, our website does note that standard delivery for beds is curbside. This means the carrier is responsible for delivering the boxes to the curb or driveway, not inside the home. While we always hope drivers use reasonable judgment and place packages in the most secure area possible, curbside delivery is the level of service included with this shipment.

We understand this situation was inconvenient and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We will continue addressing delivery performance directly with the carrier to help prevent split deliveries like this in the future.

Bought high end hospital bed

Bought high end hospital bed. Everything was great until they shipped. Misinformation about shipping dates and white glove service were given by the sales and customer service TEAM. Company stands behind the small print on their website and not the committments made by their TEAM. Worst last mile delivery program in the country.

My father is happy with his bed

The customer service team kept in contact with us from the beginning when we placed our order until we had a delivered and set up hospital bed at my fathers. We purchased the White Glove Setup with our bed and we used our own memory foam mattress.

This was our first encounter with this company and it was amazing! I called, was shown what I needed.
The order is being delivered within 4 or 5 business days.
Mr. Simon's was a fantastic help getting us qualified for the right product for our needs.

I'm extremely disappointed with this…

I'm extremely disappointed with this delivery services. The delivery team dropped the bed outside my door and refused to bring it inside unless I have to pay extra money. This was never clearly communicated at the time of purchase. A bed is large, heavy item-it's unreasonable to expect customers to move it themselves. Charging additional fees is unfair and unprofessional.
Very poor customer service and not what I expected. I would not recommend this company based on this experience.

To clarify for future customers, all standard bed deliveries are curbside freight deliveries, as clearly stated on our website prior to purchase. Curbside delivery means the freight carrier delivers the item to the exterior of the home or building. It does not include bringing the item inside, upstairs, or into a specific room.

Inside delivery and assembly services (White Glove service) are available as an upgrade and must be selected at checkout. These services are performed by separate crews and are priced accordingly due to the size and weight of medical beds.

Freight carriers are not authorized to provide inside delivery without that service being arranged in advance. Any additional charges mentioned by the driver would be outside of our agreement and not something we require or encourage.

Hospital beds are large medical freight items and ship via LTL carriers — they are not parcel deliveries. The delivery terms are outlined clearly so customers can choose the service level that best fits their needs.

I do not normally write reviews on bad…

I do not normally write reviews on bad service providers, however, this company has made me need to warn others who are looking for hospital beds. Richard the salesperson was efficient and we camped on a high end hospital bed and because it was going to a memory care unit, we needed inside delivery and assembly and we paid for that. The estimated delivery was 3-7 days after order was place. Exactly what we needed. 2 days after order was placed (Wed), they notified me the rails are wrong and they will update shipping. I also inquired whether or not the delivery driver did the assembly and was advised that the White Glove service comes the same day (same as what was sold to us). By the Friday before the last day of promised delivery (Monday), there was still no tracking number so I tried to contact the company. Appparently, they close at noon on Fridays and have no customer service available. Because the actual customer in need was being moved on Monday, we had to scramble and move a bed from her home to her new room, that really did not fit or work, but was necessary. On that Sunday, my CS rep advised me that it had not shipped yet but will this week. On Monday, we got a shipment tracking number that confirmed a Thursday delivery and we were advised that we get 24 hrs notice so we can meet the truck, so we can take down the existing bed and move the new bed in. On Thursday we were advised that the shipment would deliver on Friday and that we would get 24hrs notice for a time. On Friday a freight driver called me at 11am from the delivery location and he was there to unload. No advances notice. He advised us that he would deliver inside the building, however, he left the bed outside the building (mid Feb in OH), So then I attempted to get a hold of Shop Med about the white glove assembly that should happen the same day. I was advised that Tiffany who arranges this service is off today and she comes back on Sunday and she can make arrangements then (not same day as Friday). On Sunday, we were advised by Tiffany that best option is Tuesday, 4 days after delivery and after sitting outside 4 days. When crew arrived to assemble, they advised us that this particular hospital bed has no casters. Since we had no advance notice of assembly time and we could not take down the existing queen bed in the room until the new bed was assembled and confirmed all in order, we had to make arrangements for the facility to take down her bed and move out, which they did. The bed was supposed to have casters as one of our pre-requiste. So the bed was assembled in the room and is in order. During this entire process I asked for a supervisor to contact me no less than 4 times. Finally the day after the delivery, a cocky supervisor named Josh called me to discuss what had happened. His response was the website does not guarantee a 7 day delivery (which was sold to us) nor does it guarantee same day assembly (which was sold to us and confirmed in an email, and we paid for). So I asked if I am supposed to disregard what is sold to me and confirmed by email and instead read over your small print on the website and he said yes. He said if I would like, he would fire Richard for promising me something that was not true. What a great way to shove your fellow employee under the bus. He knows we were promised same day service but "sometimes" we have deliveries in locations that take time to find someone. That was never disclosed to us. Now this delivery is in a population market of about 250K, 40 miles from Akron & Canton and 60 miles from both Pitt and Clev. So this is not remote location. I advised him that I am in the logistics, final mile delivery business and what I just bought and received for service was the worst service any customer could be given. Add on top of that, the stress of dealing with a memory care individual, and all committments being broken and those broken committments were backed up by the company website small print. Being in logistics, I really believed that dealing with a supervisor would help the situation, rather it further complicated the sitaution and made me realize what a bad company they are. Josh was somewhat proud of the service he gave us. DO NOT BUY a medical bed from this company unless you want to experience disappoints I just went thru. I would have given them a 0 if I could. After spending over $5K for a premium bed and white glove assembly, i really hope this bed works out. Josh offered me a "discount" on my next order for the inconvenience. I told him that I do not think that I will ever order anything from this company again. Finally, If I would have known that delivery would be 10 days, not 7 and that white glove delivery was 4 days later not same day, I would have had better choices and most likely would not have bought from them. Shame!!

At no point do we guarantee 3–7 day delivery. Our website clearly states that delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and that language is displayed prior to purchase. Delivery estimates are subject to manufacturer processing times, freight carrier schedules, and regional service availability.

White Glove service is also clearly outlined on our website. It is coordinated after freight delivery and is dependent on local installer availability. Same-day installation is not guaranteed, and we do not advertise it as such. In many areas, it does happen quickly, but it is never presented as a contractual same-day service.

In this case:
• The rail adjustment was communicated promptly.
• Tracking was provided once the manufacturer released the shipment.
• Freight delivery timing is controlled by the carrier — not our company.
• White Glove installation was scheduled within the standard service window once delivery was confirmed.

We understand the stress involved in coordinating a move into memory care. That said, we cannot accept responsibility for expectations that go beyond what is stated in writing on our website and order documentation.

As for the claim that we advised someone to “ignore what was sold and read the small print,” that is not an accurate representation of the conversation. Our team explained that website policies govern delivery timelines and third-party services, which is standard practice across the medical equipment industry.

We have served thousands of customers nationwide, including care facilities, and we are transparent about how freight and installation services operate. These are high-value medical products that ship via LTL freight, not parcel carriers, and delivery scheduling is managed accordingly.

We stand by the product delivered and the services arranged.
