I wish I could give zero stars - delayed review
I wish I could give zero stars. This rating is long overdue. I’m a content creator who reviews beauty products. I was so excited to try Shoplist.us as it is a platform for micro influencers (and another version of Shopmylist). I told my followers all about my shoplist and directed them to go there to place their orders for my skincare recommendations. Friends, family, my boyfriend, and followers all made purchases and I received ZERO compensation. I contacted shoplist and was told repeatedly that they were working on getting me paid. Fast forward to almost 5 months later, and I have received no compensation still. Some of my clicks were randomly disappearing too. One day I would have like “50 clicks” on a product and the next day I would be reset to “0 clicks.” I sent my followers to all of these random stores and NONE gave me what was promised. This is a horrible, scam platform. I think the only people who really get paid are big time influencers. When it’s us small content creators, we are overlooked and not compensated. Avoid at all costs. If you are a micro-influencer, I suggest using Amazon affiliates as they are transparent and will give you a portion of the sales and not scam you. Don’t waste your time creating your shoplist or getting in touch with their so-called “customer service.”
