I have used a PC Mastercard my entire adulthood, but I’m honestly so disappointed in the way Shoppers conducts business. The prices are horrendous and any incentives like PC Points or Optimum are st... See more

Post Office doesn't answer phone calls and the staff do not understand English.
I tried several times to contact the Post Office. Was transferred several times and put on hold several times. The person working the phone system could not understand English. Never got through to the Post Office. I will never do business at this location again on King George Hwy in Newton.
Rampant pricing errors
Stopped at Shoppers on way home from work. Bought milk, ice cream bars and a frozen pizza. I was using self-checkout. When I got home I happened to look at the receipt. The ice cream bars were posted as on sale at $4.99 from $6.99. My receipt showed I was charged $6.99. The pizza was posted as $5.00 down from $5.99. I was charged $5.99. I went back later in the evening to check, verified the posted pricing- the cashier said the posted prices started at 6pm. Seriously? There is no mention of pricing taking effect at 6:00 anywhere, I have photos of the shelf tag- price effective until 4/23 is all it says. Then the manager, who happened to be at the cash dealing with another customer problem said in order to get the overpayment refunded I would need to bring the items back. Seriously? This is so ridiculous and such a scam I cannot believe it. These pricing scams at Shoppers have been going on for years. Watch your receipts, they are most likely wrong.
Very unhelpful and condescending…
Very unhelpful and condescending pharmacist. Was trying to get a few emergency migraine pills while visiting from another province. Had my prescription faxed to SDM. Four times. But SDM insisted they had never seen it. Suggested I pay a random doctor online to write me a new prescription.
Switched to Pharmasave. Friendly, helpful, kind, understanding. Had me set up in no time. Will never shop at SDM again.
I'm normally very happy with Shoppers…
I'm normally very happy with Shoppers Drug Mart, but Shoppers Photo lost all my photos. I had a large amount of photos stored on their website and it was all deleted because of changes that were made. I sent them a message and they said that after the new website is finished I would have my photos back. They lied. I never got them back and now they are saying it is impossible.
Shoppers Drug Mart is an establishment…
Shoppers Drug Mart is an establishment I am always able to rely on when I am in need of hygiene products of any kind. Any different product I have needed, Shoppers has always had in stock and at a reasonably affordable price. The consumer purchase experience here is very efficient with aisles clearly labeled to be able to find whatever product I am searching for and purchase with little to no wait. I recommend this establishment.
Shoppers drug Mart will be the next…
Shoppers drug Mart will be the next company to go out of business!
I avoid ordering from shoppers drug Mart after years of bad service and other.
However they were the only location that had my product so I took a risk, ordered online because you could not purchase in store.
Promise delivery was April 6th. And I am still waiting. Shoppers drug Mart did not email did not text no information was sent to me in regards to their late delivery.
Now I am going to have to fight to get my money back. Who knows if I will ever see my product? And if it doesn't arrive what condition will it arrive in?
Horrible experience
Horrible experience, supervisor Peter stopped me to choose a deodorant by smell it,unbelievable, nobody did that ever!!!!
North Road , Burnaby, BC.
PS Never come back.
Despicable Behaviour
My husband and I came to Shoppers Drug Mart on Victoria Avenue in Niagara Falls on Friday April 3, 2026 to do some shopping. My husband who is diabetic needed to use the washroom as he he has done on numerous occasions in this store. He went to ask to use the bathroom at the pharmacy station where he was told that it was out of service. The two employees Jasmine and Mary-Anne proceeded to tell him to go urinate outside and laughed at him. This is appalling and disgusting behaviour. Shame on them for belittling a diabetic good customer. I will follow up with the store manger and head office. Horrible customer service!!!
Very rude unhelpful staff
Very rude unhelpful staff. Anything one asks, seems too much trouble for the staff! Shopper’s is a LAST RESORT stop for me. The don’t deserve the business!!!
Highly recommend not applying for jobs…
Highly recommend not applying for jobs here, especially for beauty positions. The work environment is extremely unprofessional, toxic and management does not handle employee concerns seriously. Beauty manger Ambrose from 1410 shoppers drug mart may appear to be the face of Shoppers from the outside, but anyone who has actually worked with him knows how biased and unfair he can be. Shift distribution is not handled equally, and favoritism is very obvious.
They keep hiring new employees, but nobody stays because shifts are promised during hiring and then not given. Recently, many of the older employees left for the same reason; unfair treatment and lack of proper management support. Several of us raised these concerns multiple times, but no action was ever taken. Lately, he has also been targeting employees who spoke up about these issues.
I had already been approved for leave, but due to the ongoing war situation I was unable to return to work on time. Instead of communicating professionally or trying to understand the circumstances, he chose to terminate me without giving any clear reason. On top of that, he blocked me rather than handling the situation in a proper and respectful way, which only shows how unprofessional the management is. I will be attaching screenshots for reference..
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere if you want a fair workplace, respectful management, and stable shifts.
The most expensive drugstore, period. On virtually everything. Even sale items are often more expensive. It has been like this for many years.
The most expensive drugstore bar non.
Customer service is basically non…
Customer service is basically non existent. Called early in the day, was on hold for an hour and forty minutes then the call ended? So I tried again later in the day, they say that your wait time will be less than an hour and 15 minutes. I’ve now been on hold for two hours and twenty minutes. Why is it such a challenge to contact any company now a days? It’s ridiculous.
Abysmal Online Customer Service
The Shoppers Beauty Event- Online only- up to 30% back in points on March 4 and 5.
I put 3 items in my basket, but had to clarify a shade so went to my local store. Came back in the afternoon of the 5th and all the bonus points had disappeared from the Shoppers site. Spent an hour on the computer- restarted the computer, logged out of Shoppers account, took items out then put back into my basket- nothing worked. I then spent an hour on the phone, forwarded to 3 different departments so 3 times long waits before finally getting a service rep to file a case,
Shopper's response to my claim- the bonus event had ended (it had not as I filed the claim on the 2nd day) and they insisted I provide proof there was such a sale at their own store. Their final decision- after several e-mails- the sale had expired so I had no claim- so inane and insulting it is beyond insulting and ridiculous. What should have been a very simple issue to resolve was made far worse by an inept customer service department. Never again would I shop at Shoppers for cosmetics of any kind.
Shoppers has the most confusing…
Shoppers has the most confusing website, doesn't make sense
Village square shoppers
The employee forced me and my small friends group out if the store, we told that they could look through our bags, or we leave then on the counter. The employee then told us to leave
and if we wanted to shop there we cant having any bags and only one person. They then proceeded to allow other groups with bags into the store.
Searching for an item online is a joke
Searching for an item online is a joke. While most Shoppers drugmart stores have websites, they don’t list the products they sell. If you are searching for a specific item, and you want to pick it up,you have to call any number of Shoppers drugmart stores by phone to see if they have the product. This company is stuck in the 1960’s and does not deserve your business.
Wrong lottery order given
I went to check for opening time for the location and noticed the reviews for all stores are abysmal. I can add to that. At Tenth Line Road, the staff seems to change weekly and are poorly trained, especially regarding lottery tickets. All they know is to try to persuade you to get Encore. I asked for 2 tickets for Ontario 49 for the 2 draws of the week. It was $4 which is the correct amount but only noticed at home she had given me 1 ticket with Encore for 2 draws of the week. I did not say the word Encore and did not want it. Did not want to waste time and money to return but NOT HAPPY AT ALL AND NOT THE FIRST ERROR.
Returned Humanity
My experience at Shoppers Drug Mart was absolutely uplifting. The customer service was incredible. I went in the store looking for a product that I couldn't find and when I asked a person that worked there, they were more than happy to find it for me and when it couldn't be found on the shelf, they even went into the back storage and found what I was looking for and all with a smile.
I visited Tsawwassen Mall Shoppers…
I visited Tsawwassen Mall Shoppers Drug mart Sat. morning March 7 after receiving an incorrect product in my on line order. Telephone customer service for on line suggested I go to the store for a replacement or refund. Tsawwassen Mills store did not have the hair product in the store so I just had the money returned to my cc. I want to say what great service I received from the woman at the beauty service counter who was very attentive and helpful as well as patient with my limited abilities in a wheelchair. I experienced the same friendliness and help from who I think was the manager. I was very happy with this Shoppers. I can't remember ever having a pleasurable experience returning something as I did there. Thanks!
The Girl she works at Beauty Department…
The Girl she works at Beauty Department @ Address: 204 First Ave, St Thomas, ON N5R 4P5 she was very Racist and she doesn't wanna Answer any question about a perfume maybe she sell at that department I was so nice and polite with her but it seems like she is a very Racist girl and not a good customer type
Therefore, I will not recommend Shoppers Drug Mart at that Location to anyone
