UNBELIEVABLE!! NEVER AGAIN, WILL I ORDER!!
Delivery person carelessly and lazily threw my package from my house front curb to the fenced sidewalk. Yes, my fence has an easy entrance to use, so no excuse to open it and walk my package to my postal box marked exclusively for packages. My package was left in full view for anyone to come by and steal it, because the carrier left on the sidewalk! I saved my house video as proof.
My package contained my purchases of lavender sugar cubes and you guessed it... the sugar cubes broke because the carrier threw my package about 10 feet in the air where it landed on my sidewalk. To add to my frustrations, the carrier wrote that he "hand-delivered my package", which is a full outright lie!!!
Furthermore. I attempted several times to calling the Terrain phone number listed on the site (877-897-6031) to speak to someone about this ridiculous delivery transaction, and after following the prompt, "Press 1 to speak to someone regarding your online order", the prompt instead disconnected me!!!! Attempted to call 6 times and this is the only option to reach someone, and yep, it disconnected me each time!!!!! UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!
I will never order from this company again: it was my first time, and that was PATHETIC!!!!!

There are no words to adequately describe how incredibly dismal the Terrain customer service is. I placed an order a month before I had received an email saying that shipping would be delayed. I tried contacting the company through email and chat to cancel my order, and after multiple attempts with no response I finally texted with an agent that agreed to cancel the order. Two weeks later, I received another email indicating that my order was shipping. After several emails back and forth, I was told that there was no record of my cancelation and that I could return the items when I received them. My attempts at returning are in vain, because the online order history indicates that the items are non-refundable. I am contacting my credit card company to initiate a charge back and will never try to do business with Terrain again.

Without having even placed an order I can tell that this company's CS is abysmal. For 10-15 minutes I went in circles during an online chat with a rep who clearly didn't understand my question, and was even looking at a different set of measurements than I was as he(?) insisted that they were in cm, not inches. I then tried calling the CS number and spoke with a woman who didn't have any more information than what I could see on the web page. Maybe this isn't their fault but the website folks need to clear up the kinds of discrepancies that make things confusing for shoppers, and give reps the tools they need to actually answer questions.

Bought one item & received 4 . I did the thoughtful responsible honest thing & wrote them . All they did was send me a return slip by e-mail requesting the 3 back and “ have a nice day “ . I had to print up , pack , and do not live near a UPS but my husband will drop off at one near his work place . No offer was made to have it picked up at my house . This was SHOP TERRAIN’s RESPONSIBILITY not the Customer’s fault . I filled out a Review sent to me from them on their Customer Service . They need to improve but I will not purchase from them again
3 months late, they ignore refund request
I ordered something for Christmas in October. It is now Christmas eve, I have finally received a response from Bandi in customer service, ignoring my request for a refund, she wrote that they expected the item to be in stock on January 6 and would send it to me then. It is of no use to me then. I want a refund. I have bought from them in the past - and bought a gift from them for my daughter this year too, which she received - but never again. And customer service addressed the email to my daughter even though my name is part of my Gmail address and the account is in my name. Just appalling.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. I submitted a claim for a broken pot on 12/4. The email confirmation said I would receive a response within 72 hours. It is now 12/13, and I have not received a response back. I’ve tried calling and emailing their service lines, and that has not done anything to help. I’m currently sitting on hold waiting for a customer service representative to pick up the phone…it’s already been 30 minutes.
Item arrived broken for the 2nd time
I ordered a Decorated mini feather tree and it arrived without packing material so of course the ornmants on the tree were broken. I tried the chat - got a robot. I tried calling and was on hold for 2 hours. I called their brick and mortor stores - was cut off and never ever spoke to a real person. This happened with the same item last year. I think they have expanded their business to include restaurants, events, garden that now they can't provide adequate customer service. Or, they think their products are so good they just don't care. That's what I think!
Avoid!!
Avoid ordering from Terrain. Extremely overpriced for quality of items. Had trouble with items arriving broken and damaged. Was told not to return an item with broken glass and to dispose of the item. Received a charge for not returning the item a month later. Called CS and was told it would be credited back. Received a separate charge a week later. Customer service rep could not explain what happened and kept mentioning a recurring charge and that they “added extra.” It was very confusing and when I asked to talk to someone else, no one was available. Supposedly I will receive a refund for both amounts, hoping I do not have to call their customer service again. Wish I read reviews sooner and I will never again order from Terrain due to the low quality of the items and horrible CS experiences.

32 of 40 items broken and unable to get any sort of confirmation that they will be replaced 10 days after they were reported broken and refused. Terrain doesn't have any sort of e-mail to give you, you have to get on the phone and wait on hold for them every time

I wish I would have read the reviews before I ordered from Terrain! I was thinking that since they were associated with Anthropologie their products and customer service would be of a higher quality. It isn't - it's totally inefficient and untimely. My experience was the exact same as another reviewer posted - received the wrong item and then was told they would refund me for it, no instructions to return until months later when the item that I didn't want had been disposed of and also NO REFUND!!! Don't waste your time and money with them!!!!
Ordered a floral and was sent a dress, which they charged me for.
I ordered a dried floral and they sent me an anthropologie dress. I reached out to see what I needed to get the dress returned and the correct floral sent. They did send me the correct floral, but never acknowledged the need to return the dress. A couple months later I was charged for the dress which I no longer had in my possession because it was 3 sizes too big and I had gotten rid of it when I moved. I went in circles with customer service for a few weeks before I gave up trying to reason with them. Sounds like they’re full of issues. Wish I had read reviews before ordering. Never again.
FRAUD WARNING
This Is a "financial" company similar to Western Union or PayPal, with the tiny difference that is a total fraud.
I received a payment and somehow when I tried to withdraw my funds, they ask for a TIN code, which I paid as Im not a US resident and I dont know the specific laws for taxes, which really scared me, even when I've received payments for proyects in dollars; and my taxes are paid in my country, then again they asked for a ABA code, as an insurance to prevent money laundering and make a secure transfer. After that a TAC requested via email.
What makes it completely wrong, is that they ask you to transfer from a personal account into another person through a MEXICAN bank, and they "refund" directly to your Terrain account, but remember you cant touch that money cause they need another fee, and then another, and another... They're incapable of giving you a phone number, a name, an address, nothing. And you cant proceed until you pay... And you see your digital account grow and grow, but you cant touch it. BE VERY CAREFUL with this pseudo company

Look pretty on the wall, leave them there
Suffice it to say that the garden tools here are meant to be looked at and admired rather than used by actual gardeners. The very nice looking Portugese-artisan-made pruning shears I bought work fine when you are pruning, but the clasp is a cheap piece of tin which bent out of shape almost immediately and does not work to hold the shears closed at all. It is a real pain to have a pair of shears that is in open position at all times — in your pocket, in the bucket, slicing your finger. The hand rake is very, very pretty and works absolutely no better than a $6 hand rake from Home Depot. Buy these for decoration and hang them on the shed wall so people will think you are a gardener. But if you’re actually looking for a useful tool there are better and much cheaper alternatives,

Returns, Exchanges, Customer Service...OH MY!
While the item I received appeared to be of high quality, it was not, unfortunately, the item I meant to order (my fault). Trying to initiate a return or exchange was an ill-fated fiasco. Response times were quite slow, and the entire email process eventually came full circle, restarting from where we began. To preserve my sanity, I decided to forego the exchange and eat the cost of my mistake. I will, however, NEVER purchase another item from Terrain. My first two times will definitely be my last.
Horrid quality
I highly recommend that no one purchase the Mesa Teak chairs, it is a beautiful chair but the worst quality imagined. I purchased 4 chairs, and on the first shipment, 3 of them were broken out of the box, but there was no damage to the shipping packaging. Shipment 2 for the 3 replacements was sent, and one of the 3 chairs received was broken. Shipment 3 was sent to replace the broken one from Shipment 2, and it was also broken. At this point, I was ready to cut my losses, but I went ahead and tried one more replacement shipment. Shipment 4 was sent, and this chair was also broken out of the box. In total, I had 4 separate shipments of 9 chairs and have only received 3 that were not broken. I have yet to receive 4 chairs that were not broken out of the box, and all have been returned, as I do not trust these to hold up even if they appear to not be broken on receipt.

They say they accept afterpay, but they continually cancel orders and then deem your coupon code as "used" so you can't actually make use of it.
Return problems, broken items, horrible customer service
A vase arrived cracked in half, dried lavender bouquets were totally bare and falling apart, the coconut husk doormat was shedding all of its husk, and the moss wall frame looked like it was put together by a five year old. They don't refund shipping at all, so I'm out of pocket $20. And Terrain has yet to refund me for the fourth item even though it's been almost a month. Horrible customer service when I call - people don't know what they're talking about, the return label took 45+ min to create when I called up because I was at UPS. And of course everything's super overpriced. I'll never buy anything from them again.
