I was scammed by Shopu when I bought a costume for £112. The delivery was ~4 weeks late, even though I'd paid £10 extra for express shipping. When I contacted Shopu's customer support the arrange a return, they refused to give me a refund and they eventually stopped replying to my emails. The phone number on their website is invalid and they're based in China which makes it difficult to contact them

My order just arrived on the 24th. It was a Christmas gift for my son. Thanks for getting it to me in time. My son loves it so much.

This company is a fraud!!!! Do not buy!!!

The pajamas I ordered from them guys are great! The fabric is softer than what I expected. I bought 4 sets for my whole family. Most of them are true to size expect my husband's pjs. They looks a little small on his body. However, this does not affect our Christmas gathering, LOL...

Do not buy from this company. Everything seems to come from China despite giving the impression that it’s a UK website.

Ordered Halloween outfit two weeks exactly before Halloween and paid for the express shipping (3/5 days).

The outfit arrived two days AFTER Halloween.

Contacted the seller to ask them to collect it as surplus to requirements as it was so late.

Told I have to pay to get it shipped to China.

Appalling customer service from this company. Do not buy from them.

If you had to return anything you will end up with expensive shipping fees.

The only reason I need to return is that it went past Halloween for which the item was bought for.

This company makes you believe that they are uk based. They are Asia based. Ordered Halloween costume for my son and it arrived 5 weeks later (3 weeks after Halloween). The deadpool costume is flimsy and ripped right away. The colour transfers to furniture. Avoid these scammers.

What ever you do don't order from this company, comes 4 weeks late, wrong sizes, and won't return your item of refund you, there based in China, so please save your self time headache and stress look elsewhere

I bought 2 pairs of boots from them. They fit great and really comfortable. I've worn them almost every day since i got them and love them. I actually would like to buy more from them. 5 stars for them. Really good items.

I was told there's processing time before package actually despatched. My order was made with express shipping. It took longer than thay said. But it delivered in good condition. I love the costume. It is nice in quality. Hope you will take care of the shipping time. No complaint on their products.

Just completely dreadful - worst experience I have ever had with any online purchase. Item never dispatched, followed up after 10 days for an update, got an abrupt response, told would cancel it. Asked when refund would come - told 'probably next week'. Now 3 weeks later, and vendor is ignoring me. Had to open a dispute with paypal to attempt to re-claim my money.

Please do not buy from this company. I ordered a costume from them which had bits missing and wasn't the size it said it would be their website. They try to fool you into thinking they are a in the UK and even give a UK address on their website but its all from China. When I contacted them they offered a partial credit and told me to keep what I had. But when I pushed for the full refund they said I have to ship the goods back to China. This cost over £20 and was enforced by PayPal. I have now finally got my money back but still lost some on postage. Awful company.

Absolutely disastrous, avoid at all costs. Ordered a ‘Joker’ costume weeks ago, paid £9.99 for 3-5 day delivery, no sign of it. Communication hopeless, inconsistent and generic. Avoid!!

I absolutely love my costume from them. Ordered costume for our Halloween party in Oct. I made the order in early October and paid extra for delivery. It arrived later than i thought but before our paty. So, it doesn't matter. The costume is very nice. We had great time. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I ordered a jacket in late September and I still didn’t receive the jacket 2 months later so I requested a refund 2 weeks ago and haven’t been given one yet. I’d avoid this place to be safe

Avoid at all costs. Items sent 10 days late and supposed manager contact is dragging their heals over a refund. Do not use this scam site. Thankfully I used PayPal so will be opening a case with them to resolve.

Awful company, late deliveries and fake advertising on what they are selling. I ordered a joker costume and all the items of clothing were different sizes, some parts were small some medium and some large. Contacted about a refund and haven't anything back. Do not use this site!!

I ordered my star wars outfit and paid for 5 day delivery, 3 weeks after the event the costume turned up which i told them was no good. (its not my usual day to day outfit!)
I returned the outfit but they still haven't returned my money, I am now having to report them to Paypal and Amex to get my refund!

So on Friday last week I ordered some Harley Quinn boots, necklace & belt to go with my costume for Halloween. I did want it also to cosplay too for after. I was worried after paying for express delivery that it wouldn't come in time after reading bad reviews so I emailed the customer service which got back to me within the day! They sent me tracking information & offered to refund the express delivery I paid. It was sent via 48hrs tracked royal mail. I tracked it thinking it wouldn't come in time but it did! I recieved them first thing Saturday morning & put everything on right away. Everything is amazing quality, the boots are super comfy & I was worried the heels would be big but it's not. Lovely & small, so easy to wear & walk around in for hours. Everything is very good quality & worth the price I paid too.
Thank you again & will be using again. The only thing was I was worried about the time it took to get here but thankfully it arrived on time.

Don’t trust shopu I got a Halloween costume from them 10 days before Halloween and it said it would come in 3-5 days because I payed for priority shipping which is an extra £9 and my costume didn’t come until after Halloween! It was in transit for almost 2 weeks!

Ordered my items 2 weeks before I needed them and paid extra for faster shipping. Received no order updates or notification of dispatch so I contacted Shopu after 6 days only to receive a very curt and unprofessional reply with an empty apology. I was also then informed that I would have to pay a fee to cancel my order and receive a refund. Absolutely terrible customer service, based on principle I will be returning my items for a full refund (if they ever materialise) and certainly will not be using Shopu.co.uk again.
