The 49£ asked for 2 weeks seemed way to low so i had to check out some reviews. Thanks for the heads up. This website should not be legal.
What a scam
What a scam!
This site is 100% made out to look like an insurer when in reality they are not, they email you a list of 5 insurers
They are:
Aviva
Veygo
Dayinsure
Insure 4 a day
Insure Daily
All of which wouldn't insure me anyway. Wasted £50 and couldn't even get insurance when I thought I had it!
Might go and pay Andrew a little visit, he deserves to lose a few fingers and maybe some teeth!
I got shafted by this company also
I got shafted by this company also. Note to self and to all you guys out there (and girls) always read the reviews on trustpilot!
They took £49.95 from my account and I got an email today after 4 days, saying that my car is/was not insured.
Mother Fcukers!
Scammers.Avoid.
The 49£ asked for 2 weeks seemed way to low so i had to check out some reviews. Thanks for the heads up. This website should not be legal. Very misleading.

They are legally scamming people. I don't know how they are running there business!!!!! I am going to report against it.
AVOID
Thanks everyone I had to double check before purchase avoid avoid avoid
Please avoid this company
Please avoid this company, they are scammers and not insurance company or broker etc.
It’s not insurance
Enter all your driver and vehicle details *as you would for an insurance quote*
Get given a quote of £50 *as you would for an insurance quote*
Agree to Ts&Cs and pay the money *as you would for an insurance quote*
Get an email listing companies I could have rattled off anyway.
I’m not one for misreading or being tricked easily but I thought I was paying for insurance. I’m now £50 down, have no insurance. I’ve emailed clarifying and asking for my money back and just been sent a link to their Ts and Cs
There isn't a Barge Pole long enough, to keep you as far away as possible to avoid this company.
There isn't a Barge Pole long enough, to keep you as far away as possible to avoid this company, Short Insure.
I have already reported this company to the Advertising Standards Authority, and I shall be forwarding this email to Trading Standards Authority, and the Ombudsman which handles insurance, The Financial Ombudsman. You can find them at the Financial Ombudsman UK website if you search for it.
I am also going to create other reviews on other review platforms, and I urge you, if you have been scammed by these low life's, to do the same! One cannot refer to them as Cowboys, because that is being unfair to Cowboys.
Their actual product is pitiful! Their 'so called' data base is about 5 companies long, which all appeared to be versions of the same company except one Bonafede company being AVIVA I recommend that you go to them directly at the Aviva website, or use Confused as I did. Just search for 'Short term Insurance' and Confused have a site dedicated to it. I got mine from Watford Insurance, very reasonable and based in Gibraltar.
If you get stuck send an email to: contactus at tempcover.com, they will provide you with upto 28 days for a very good rate. See my review of their service.
If I were an director for Aviva, I wouldn't want my company to be associated with Short Insure, and I would instruct them to remove Aviva from their data base and from their website.
If Short Insure were 'upfront', about their business, and had a honest and decent data base product, then they wouldn't have to hide behind the pretense of being a broker, and their misleading logo with the microscopic small print, which they mistakenly believe puts them within the trading standards laws. Well they are wrong!
If you are an employee of Short Insure, I advise you to hand in your notice today, before trading standards come knocking on your door.
What a Scam! thank you everyone
What a Scam!
At the last minute before paying for my so thought policy, after seeing such a good price I decided to check the reviews, and only then just in time revealed the scam, that this is not an insurance policy. So thank you everyone for your great reviews!
Scam!!! Do not use!!!
My partner just paid to insure a car for a few days for £50 which seemed brilliant and straight forward where all the other quotes were £100, after paying the money and receiving the email he then noticed that it was just a scam and not insurance at all. We will be requesting a refund through the bank and making several complaints, this is ridiculous paying for a service that is free with sites such as go compare. Outraged.
Total scam.......
My partner recently got scammed by this thought he was getting insured and then realised you pay £49 for the database as people are saying and you can just google this to get the same information! How did people get a refund?
Not an insurance service
Not an insurance service. Charges £49.95 for a list of insurers. Scandalous scammy site.
SCAM ALERT
Wanted to insure my son for 4 days on my car. Filled in the details on this website, but it all seemed too easy!!!
Thank goodness I then went on to check the reviews for the site.
Thanks to all reviewers warning about this SCAM!!!
I’m in shock
I’m in shock that this scamming website hasn’t been taken down yet. The low life scum running the operation deserve some serious karma.
All the other reviews say it all really
This company is an absolute scam!
This company is an absolute scam!! I can’t believe I’m having to give it even 1 star! Honestly they’re full of crap just trying to scam people portraying themselves as a temp insurance cover whereas in reality once you’ve made the payment they send you an email with 3 company’s that do temp cover so they charged for nothing when you search temp cover on google these company’s come up anyways! So they’re fraudsters and the website needs to be removed! Ridiculous!
