Shsatlab Reviews

SHSATlab helps NYC students prepare for the SHSAT, the admissions test for Stuyvesant, Bronx Science, Brooklyn Tech, and five other specialized high schools. Most families are not looking for more worksheets. They want to know where their child stands and what to practice next. SHSATlab starts with a free full length practice test. When your child finishes, you see a score estimate and a time summary. With membership, you also get a breakdown across 30 reading and math skill areas, so prep focuses on weak topics instead of repeating what they already know. From there, SHSATlab builds a study plan your child can follow week by week. Students practice by topic at the right level, work on timed sets to build pacing, and train on the kinds of digital and interactive questions used on today’s SHSAT. When a question is confusing, Iko, our in app tutor, gives step by step help connected to the exact skill they are practicing. Membership includes additional full length practice exams, question review, and progress tracking over time. Parents can see how scores change after each test and how results compare to recent cutoff ranges for the schools on their list, so goals stay realistic and motivation stays high. SHSATlab was built by a NYC parent for 7th and 8th graders across the city who want structured, affordable prep without paying for a large tutoring package before they even have a baseline. You can use SHSATlab on a phone, tablet, or computer, wherever your child already does homework.See more
