I would just like to mention how wonderful and helpful Georgia was to me today. Such a pleasant and welcoming young lady. Having an employee such a her is a BONUS to Shurgard.

Great Experience. They made the process easy and it much more affordable. Then most places. They even called to check how I got on moving in.

Inundated Website and staff did not cooperate

I selected a unit for storage online which was approx 200 sq ft. The payment went through online and everything was fine and I paid £1 for the first month as this was the offer online offered at the time. So payment for the first month at £1 was approved. I then received a call the next morning by a member of the Shurgard team explaining that I have to rent the unit for atleast 2 months. I explained that for now I just need it for 1 month but they persisted that it has to be for 2 months. I explained that this information was not reflecting online and that if this was the case I should not have been allowed to pursue online. They said the page has not been updated. I requested that this was not known information and if my unit could be honoured and the lady denied this and was not friendly. I spoke to another 2 members of staff who also declined my request despite the information not being correct online. I had to then make other arrangements and cancel this all together. Waste of time and a shame a reputable company as Shurgard could not honour this request!

I don't know it's the company or employee who doesn't know how to guide customers and tell them each clause to make sure they know everything, I booked the storage for my e bikes, I told the staff when they were giving me the unit, and when i took the bikes to the storage and put all of them in the unit the very next day they called and terminate my contact claiming that I was riding the bike in the building, whereas, I was taking them to my unit even though I apologize for that but still the staff didn't listen and terminated my contract by saying due to health and safety measures we are doing that.

Went down to the store after renting a unit online. Sue at the reception was so helpful and really informative on how things work and detailed how to use the app properly. Definitely one of the occasions that reminds me how important good customer service .

Moving property about can be stressful time. Therefore it was appreciated when Sue (Norbury reception) resolved an awkward scenario with understanding and empathy. Due to error on my part i would have had to serve an additional notice and pay an additional fee. She waived the charge and it was greatly appreciated.

The man at the front desk when I arrived was very helpful polite and easy to talk to , he gave me all the help and advice I needed , he even rescued me when I couldn’t get my lock to work he sorted it, thank you norbury shurgard I will and have recommended you

I turned up at Norbury Shurgard SW16 with 2 vans and removal men at a costly expense to me and I couldn't get excess to my unit so I called Shurgard as it was a Saturday and Norbury Shurgard wasn't open, A gentleman answered my call and when he checked my account the lady who booked me put my D.O.B wrong and never told me about the shurgard App so this gentleman sorted everything out for me and talked me through it step by step, I am so grateful to him and he was a star that day and saved me a lot of money as I didn't have to send the removal men away with my belongings, I will like to thank him and give him 5-stars for his help and putting the customer first you need more like him trust me. Fantastic .

I am a returning customer and I applied on line to take out a storage unit. Last time you sent me the details of my unit and the lock and password.

I tried to do the same this time and you cancelled. My details have not changed. You have deprived me of my funds.
I needed the unit before 25th December. I had to ask a friend to take some of my goods in her storage unit (Patricia Adams) otherwise I would have lost the funds I paid out to the removal company.
Can you make up your mind how you conduct business. I am an 83 years old gentleman and the internet is NOT my forte.

Whilst I'd ben given all your information I still didn't understand it all. She was patient and informative and enabled me to understand your system
