Shurgard Self Storage - Utrecht Cartesius Reviews 62

I had a very poor experience with Shurgard in Utrecht (Cartesius). The access code they provided for my unit was incorrect, and although they said Customer Service was available on Sunday, no one answered my calls. Throughout the following days, multiple representatives told me I would be called back, yet no call ever came. It took four working days and repeated follow-up on my side before someone finally confirmed the access code had been wrong. Extremely disappointing service and lack of reliable support.

Absolutely great service. All my requirements were met perfectly. Easy to access, application works great. Safe and convenient storage

Complete scam…They terminate contract without notice. Access gets blocked without notification. Staff ould not help. Especially the property manager who is out to get you.
Stay away for your own sanity.

Easy to request online and to setup.
I requested on the day that I needed the unit and after a few hours the unit was ready for me to use.

The code and app pass didn’t work for the elevator and there is no solution after one week. It is super annoying and I lost a lot of money because I cannot have access to the storage space

It was the first time in my life that I used such storage. (location Utrecht). Overall, I had a very positive experience. Booking online was effortless, and understanding how to access the storage was straightforward.

I do have one minor comment: it wasn't clear to me how and when I should get the key. I called two days before to inquire, and initially, I was told I could obtain the key in the office. However, on my second call, I was informed that I had to go to the main office. Fortunately, the keys were waiting inside the box, so I didn't need to go anywhere.

I arrived at the storage facility one day before the rental period started to ensure everything was clear and that I could access the box. Unfortunately, I couldn't access it because the rental period hadn't begun. It might be helpful to add a sentence stating that customers can access the storage starting from the first day of the rental. Other than that, everything was extremely positive.

Efficient storage facililty not far from city centre. Hassle free booking which we did at the front gate. No office- everything done onlie. Good app based solution for opening gates. A bit overpriced lock that is compulsory to buy

They contact me first on telephone to confirm and give further instructions. At the place got all the information clear. I do recommend.

Shurgard storage is very good in terms of accessibility and safety. The storage space can be accessed 24/7 using the shurgard app and I find it very convenient.
