Excellent service, delivery was great

We were really looking forward to enjoying this food so ordered quite a variety of dishes. However what a disappointment as most of the dishes were ruined by the whole lime in them. The citrus flavour was so strong we couldn't taste anything else. The chicken with pomegranate was super sickly sweet, inedible for me as it just tasted of sugar. Maybe Persian food is supposed to be like this, if so, keep doing what you're doing, but it really isn't to our taste. The last time we tasted Persian food was 40 odd years ago when we were students. It was cooked by our neighbours mum who was staying with him at the time and the memory of the perfumed rice and chicken is still fresh in our memories. It was superb. We thought we would receive fresh vibrant food from this place but we thought it was dull and uninspiring. We're so sorry because we really wanted to like it. The positive is we really support the recycling of the packaging by posting it back for free. Brilliant idea and wish other people would follow suit so thank you for that.

The food came on time and it was all package very well . How ever the rice with dill and road beans was plain it had no meat or chicken inside which was strange
The sabzi was good the fasngonen was good . The plain rice with saffron was good. The bread was very stale . The baklava was good. I ordered another stew aubergine and split peas it never arrived. So overall good .I might order again in the near future little pricy though. Thanks.

I was expecting this to be good, but not to taste exactly like my mamanbozorg's food!! And as any good Persian knows, there is no higher compliment than this. Thank you so much for bringing a piece of home to my table Shuro Shirin, you truly are wonderful.

Really pleased with my recent purchase from Shuro Shirin. The food came in well insulated recyclable packaging and was in perfect condition. We have enjoyed the lamb with split peas, saffron rice and also the pistachio shortbread and look forward to to trying the other dishes soon.

I like shuru Sharon a lot but bought stuff in sale and was very disappointed as either it was out of date or for some reason didn’t had taste and lamb had a smell

My order arrived on the day I requested and I received a message giving me a delivery time slot, which was accurate and helpful.
The food was still frozen when it arrived and the items that I've tried so far have been delicious. I'm really impressed with the olives with walnut and pomegranate molasses!
I'm also very impressed with the returns policy you have for the packaging. As requested, I simply taped up the box and printed a returns label and took to my nearest Collect + store! Brilliant idea.
I'll definitely order again.

Always have these stocked in the freezer! Super healthy and delicious, also a massive bonus that the packaging is all recyclable.
