Gordon fitted my shutters and I am so pleased with them. Aside from the delays with strikes at the port for their arrival into UK, I can’t fault his work. He is reliable, skilled, polite and tidied up afterwards, he arrived on time for the measuring up and the fitting when he said he would unlike so many other tradesmen who don’t turn up when they say they will, fail to give you a quote when they do turn up and act like they are doing you a favour when you’re paying for a service. Gordon has great work ethic which is rare in the building trade! Certainly recommend him and he is reasonably priced too!

Aside from the amazing fit and look of the shutters recently installed at our home, Gordon and his team are genuinely nice and honest people. No pushy sales, sound advice based on our needs and style,followed by a beautiful functional finish. We have used Shutter your House twice now and will do so again – highly recommend them.

An amazing experience from start to finish. Service was brilliant and it was an absolute pleasure to deal with Gordon, we feel very lucky to have found them.

Even before deciding to go ahead, we saw our neighbours' shutters and were very impressed by the quality of it all. Gordon has shown absolute professionalism from the moment we were introduced to him by our neighbours, first visiting our house and answering all our questions, as well as taking measurements for the quote. The price, for the quality and bespoke shutters that you are getting, is very reasonable especially given that he used to be a carpenter. My parents were extremely pleased with the installation process, as everything went smoothly and was completed ahead of schedule.

I've recently used shutter your house to have the front of the house shuttered and the other windows fitted with blinds. Me and my partner are absolutely delighted with them all and couldn't recommend Gordon and his team highly enough.

Very competitive on price against the large shutter / blind companies and I don’t think anyone could ask for a better overall service from start to finish. Once the fitting appointment was book, Gordon kept us informed of his timeline and messaged the day before and on the day of installation to advise of arrival time.

All the packaging was taken away and at the end of the day you would not have known any work had been completed on the house apart from the sight of bright new shutters.

We are so lucky to have had Gordon local to have been in a position to use his company.

I have always been a little cynical as to the integrity of reviews on 'websites' provided for for local traders, but wish to share the genuine knowledge professionalism and friendliness of Gordon and Ian from 'Shutter Your House' in all our recent dealings with them . Without ever being 'pushy' Gordon advised as to the various 'material' options available, thru to installation, and price. Before going to them ,I had previously been impressed by the quality of the 'shutters' they had fitted in 'Bay Windows' of two local neighbours houses within the previous year or so . I sought these neighbours opinions as to their 'experience' of the product and the 'installation' in their homes. Both gave high praise. Having now had my own 'shutters' installed by Shutter Your House ,I fully agree with their testament and would highly recommend them to others who may be considering having shutters fitted in their homes.
