Since 2013, the fourth generation has been running Sibast Furniture with the same attention to detail, craftsmanship, and quality as previous generations while also adding new perspectives and creating new design stories. The family company combines respectful reissues and refinements of iconic 1950s Danish Modern furniture by Helge Sibast, Piet Hein, Arne Vodder with contemporary designs of Kasper Eistrup, Naja Utzon Popov, Morten Anker with a timeless appearance in a collection that passes a Danish design heritage on to future generations.

Sham of a furniture maker

I've purchased a Sibast No 11 sideboard, and the quality is exceptionally poor.

The description on the Sibast website says: "The Sibast No 11 sideboard is made of solid wood with oak and walnut veneer".

However, in reality, it is all just a low-quality and nasty smelling chipboard and MDF. It's literally an Ikea-grade item sold at a ridiculous premium.

In addition to that, the black door was covered in stains which could not be removed with wet cloth.

I am very disappointed with Sibast furniture. Based on my experience I cannot recommend this company and its furniture to anyone.
