My review didn't get published so he s another. I paid 13.85 for my husband J Ellam (if you reading this Sickie staff) to get an Appointment 6pm 6th Dec Dr Ahmed. Doc didn't turn up. Waited 45 mins. The e mail address is invalid and throws the e mail back undelivered..no refund. No phone call. Nothing. I require a refund please.

Absolutely a scam! DO NOT use this company!

Paid for a fitness note - was sent a very unprofessional “note” that spelled my name wrong! Not only did it spell my name wrong, but it didn’t show any company logo, no doctors name, no doctors number, no signature or any contact information! It simply said “sincerely” at the end! I’ve tried to contact them twice to have this resolved, but I’ve received no response.

Then to make it even worse, no one turned up to my scheduled video call!! They simply just sent me this terrible note which would absolutely not be accepted at any place of work.

Booked my appointment 10 mins before and Dr Ahmed was present on time and efficient in helping me with my prescription. Would definitely use again in the future.

Its a scam. They'll arrange a video call, take your money and never actually attend the video call. Theres no customer service contact either.

I tried Sickie after a friend recommended it. Got an appointment straight away, and spoke to Dr Ahmed half an hour later. From the outset, she was very warm and very reassuring. She clearly knew her facts, and gave me her advice with a prescription and detailed arrangements for back-up and follow-up if necessary.

Dr Ahmed was very helpful with information about my eye issue. Got me some antibiotics I required. Fast efficient service, worth paying the small fee and saving the hassle of trying to get an appointment at my local surgery. Definitely recommend! Thanks

So upset and disappointed with this service. I had an appointment to obtain a new script for my antidepressants which I NEVER received after the appointment. I am in a tricky situation travelling overseas and obtaining my regular medications has been a really stressful task. I explained to the doctor I'm currently living in Italy but cannot access these meds here and so will be flying to London in two weeks to obtain them. I was stressed and the doctor seemed sympathetic to my situation. After not receiving the script 5 days after said appointment, I wrote a follow up email to check and heard nothing back. Over the next days and week I sent many follow up emails with NO REPLY. I still now have heard nothing and London has been and gone. I feel so let down by Sickie. At the end of the day I paid for their service and they did not provide me with the one thing I needed and caused me much additional stress.

IN RESPONSE TO THE BELOW REPLY FROM SICKIE:

1. This is the first I'm hearing that you decided to cancel my prescription and no longer wish to engage with me. I should have been formally notified of this.

2. I appreciate that you are prioritizing the health and safety of patients, especially surrounding mental health issues. However it is completely incorrect and defamatory to say I have been trying to access more medication than I require. As I am travelling, yes, I have been calling different practices to see who could prescribe me with a minimum of 3 months worth of my medication, as they aren't accessible in all of Europe and it's a HUGE stress and hassle to have to locate them every 4 weeks. So I have been trying to access a practice who could do this for me at a reasonable price, rather than go private, who in the past have prescribed me 3 months worth of meds, but this came at a high cost.

3. I had an appointment with Signature Health 3 weeks prior to my appointment with Sickie. They told me they could only give me a 1 month prescription due to the safety procedures surrounding antidepressants, and they did. However, they advised me to additionally contact sickie, as they would be able to grant me a 3 month prescription due to my circumstances. This is exactly what I did.

4. You should have called my doctor in Australia and confirmed with her yourself my current state of wellbeing. It is not fair to read someone's history and assume that they are currently in the same state of distress as they were years ago. I have had a very difficult time in the past yes, but I have been in an incredible place for the last 3 years and this medication is purely for maintenance purposes. The way you have worded this response is to make out like I am a 'crazy or unwell' person who needs serious help. It is upsetting and unsettling to the mental health community that you have come to such a conclusion without actually checking your facts first. If you had of actually spoken to my doctor, this would have had a very different outcome.

5. I am a very reasonable and forgiving person, and if I had of been communicated with rather than ignored, I wouldn't have ever felt the need to post a bad review. It is disheartening and unfortunate that this is the only way I have received a response from sickie.

Service was excellent and affordable.
Made very easy to book and GP understood and assessed my symptoms and arranged treatment. I was refused assistance by my GP on that same morning after 1 hour wait time as they had reached their safe working limit. I was distressed as it was reaching the weekend.
This service prevented me from having my symptoms worsen and was really helpful.
Really appreciate and recommended service.
Reassuring to know there is a service out there to assist.

This has been such an easy process. I've been unable to book a GP appointment at my local surgery for the past 6 months. Using Sickie was very easy, straight forward and I was able to get an appointment online the same day and during the consultation the prescription was texted to me instantly for me to pick up at my local chemist. Highly recommended

Easy to get appointment and prescriptions. Even there is option for NHS appointment which is completely free. Totally recommend and Dr Ahmed is amazing doctor, any issue I will just use this web site.

Sickie.co.uk are an excellent service easy access to a video call appointment at a low cost. Dr Ahmed is an exceptional physician who wants to help and treat patients. She explained my 11 year old daughters condition and prescribed her medication answered my questions patiently, I would highly recommend this service they do an amazing job, thank you Doctor Ahmed.
