Very poor quality and terrible customer service.
As part of my wife’s Christmas present I bought some Sif Jakobs jewellery, a delicate tennis bracket and some earnings to match. The first bracket had a kink in it, that was exchanged at Fenwicks no problem, the second bracket had a very lose clasp and didn’t feel secure on my wife’s wrist at all so I had to take that back as well. Fenwicks didn’t have another in stock so I opted for a refund and decided to buy directly from the Sif Jakobs website.
First of all their website was about as responsive as a dead snail, unable to add items into my shopping cart and also, once I had managed to do that, unable to delete items from the cart or alter quantities.
So I gave up and decided to email customer services, explain my frustrations and try purchase a replacement.
The response I got was incredibly curt, lacked any empathy or sincerity. They didn’t even apologise for either the poor quality clasp or my experience on their web site. They were incredibly dismissive. I would have just bought the replacement and moved on but the bracelet I wanted was twice the price on their site, and even after explaining all the above they made no attempt to resolve the situation. Basically they said “the price is the price. And yes, of course we’re sorry”. To me, that reads in a very sarcastic manner.
The jewellery is pretty but it’s not good quality and they a clearly a company that doesn’t value its customers.
Edit - in reply to their reply. They seem fixated on the price issue, not the customer experience, 2 faulty bracelets and unable to make a transaction on their website. I would have thought, given those experiences, that something would have been offered (there certainly wasn’t any apology until I asked for one, no empathy & very dismissive), as a compromise, but literally nothing.
If any of my team at work handled customer issues like this, then they would be retrained.

I was then connected to Emilie, she gave me a couple more codes to try, both rejected. Then came the outstanding customer service. Emilie created a custom discount code for the item and size I wanted. It worked perfectly, ring bought, customer very happy. This is the kind of customer service all businesses should aspire to. Well done and thanks to Emilie.

I am now resorting to this forum as I am met with zero communication regarding a recent capri uno necklace which was ordered for my birthday. On arrival, it had diamanté missing. No returns label included. Eventually, after many e mails I received one. I know that it was returned within days to UK depot. Weeks later, I am still awaiting information. I requested an exchange, but honestly, my patience is near exhausted. I have purchased numerous pieces from you and have always been delighted. I receive compliments and in the past have praised the company. Seems all is well until a problem. My necklace actually arrived in a substandard state, with zero quality control prior to sending. My confidence is now at rock bottom with their products and will be telling all my friends the same. Extremely frustrating !

If I could give 0 stars I would . Purchased a silver tennis bracelet and in less that a year a stone fell out and the clasp broke . Bracelet got sent away to the “repair” team and they want me to pay over 80£ to repair it when the bracelet only cost 109£ less than a year earlier . I told them to put it in the bin where it belongs. Shocking customer service and even worse cheap quality. SCAMMERS !! AVOID!!

Faulty ring - all the pearls fell off on the second time of wearing. No response to my emails. Do not buy from this company.
I bought 2 rings and the quality is very good but one was too big so I needed to return. I first emailed 2 weeks ago for a returns label as it was missing from the box and the message said you will get back to me asap. I then emailed again after another week and still no response. When I did some research I found this has been a common problem for a few years now. This is a shame as the rings and previously bought earrings are lovely and were delivered fast. However it’s a shame that I now have low confidence that I will get sent a returns label soon and worried that I won’t get one before my 30 days are up. This is disappointing especially given the customer pays for the returns. If the returns label was placed in the delivery box each time this would help improve your star rating and reduce emails. Please can you look into this order UK12561 and send me a returns label asap so I can up date my review and feel confident to order from you in the future.
Ordered a ring on 27th Dec 2024 which was nice but too big. I emailed them for a returns label as advised on the leaflet in the packaging but received no response other than the automated acknowledgement.
Over a week later and because I was concerned I would exceed the returns deadline I returned the item requesting an exchange, paying for postage myself. The tracking shows the item was delivered and signed for, however I've received no confirmation from them nor an update as to whether my exchange has been processed.
As mentioned their products are nice, but I wouldn't order any of their products online in future due to these issues.
I bought 3 rings quality very nice but one is too small. I emailed in and says will answer shortly with a label?
10 days I am still waiting despite emailing twice.
What's happening is this so too late to return?
