Initially I couldn’t get a hold of anyone to discuss a shop front sign for my wife’s business. I was contacted by a guy named Ali who apologised for the delay and promised the quote to be with me on the same day (moving to a new unit is not a good excuse to justify ignoring phone calls or emails - my wife is moving her salon while still serving her clients), but I thought I’d let this one slip. The weekend passed and I still hadn’t heard back, so I followed up on Monday. I received a reply from Saied who reassured me that I would receive my quotation that day.

I eventually received a quote later that evening, however I was quite surprised to hear that they wanted a whopping 75% up front before they could even show me some initial art work ideas, while their own terms state that they require a 50% deposit. When I said I was not quite comfortable paying £2,500 before seeing any design ideas, Ali said they needed “some sort of commitment” before they could do anything for me. When I started questioning the terms, he backed off and said that I could pay 50%, then an additional 25% before manufacturing, after which he said I could pay whatever amount I wanted to pay, to finally offering a £150 design deposit. Why I wasn’t offered that before being asked for 75% upfront??? I would happily pay for the drawings to be made up for me before going ahead, but the request of 75% upfront, and being told this was a policy they “can’t deviate from”, only for them to immediately backtrack really made me reconsider. In the end, when I emailed back saying we were proceeding with someone else all I received as a reply was “good luck”. Absolutely appalling if this is how they handle an unhappy client. I have since found a new, more professional signage supplier, to which we will be taking our business.

After quite a horrible first experience with another graphics company for our work van to be wrapped, we were quite picky (to say the least) for who we went with to get our new van wrapped!

From the moment we first enquired with Signs Base.. to the collection of our finished van - the whole team were absolutely incredible and we cannot fault them. We are based in Rayleigh and it was 1000% worth the trip to Witham.

The whole team are all so friendly and the finished van wrap spoke for itself. The quality of the work completed is insane, and we could not have been happier to have found this company!

I contacted Signs Base as I needed a sign for the outside of our new Royal Naval Association building. I told them what I needed and gave them the design I wanted and they were very helpful in guiding me with the material and time scales. They ensured that the whole process was as easy as possible and the communication from them was excellent from my initial inquiry to completion and delivery of the sign. I am really pleased with the finished sign, it looks great and I am sure it will last for years. I would 100% recommend them if you are thinking of having any signs made.

We needed a new shop fascia sign to replace our fading out of date one. We did alot of research before requesting quotes from 3 companies, Signs Base was one of 2 that responded. We then chose Signs Base because of their response times and professionalism along with a cost that was within our budget. We dealt with Lukasz, who kept us informed throughout the process, from initial contact to site survey to production to installation. The sign itself is stunning and finished to perfection. The installation team went above and beyond, ensuring everything was clean and that the old box was strengthened where necessary. They even used screw covers to ensure that the screws do not rust in future. The final result is amazing and we have had many customers and other businesses comment positively on the new sign. The service provided by Signsbase was an amazing experience and the MD Lukasz was extremely helpful and courteous in getting us the design we wanted in the timescale that we wanted. Throughout the whole design process Lukasz kept in regular contact with me and once the design reached a point of approval the manufacturing process was very quick. Can't thank this company enough for producing signage that has put a new face on our Charity Shop in Rochford. Shame I cant add photos because the signs look awesome
