My experience as an Ambassador

I’ve had a mixed experience with Silk On Me. The brand itself is okay, and the jewellery quality is generally fine, but I’ve had several pieces tarnish or break over time. Another frustration is that the items they send in the subscription box often can’t be found online, so you’re unable to repurchase pieces you actually like.

One of the biggest drawbacks is the 6-month contract. You’re locked in, and if you try to cancel early, you’re required to pay back the remaining amount, which feels restrictive. On top of that, cancelling the subscription has been a hassle. If you try to do it manually online, you can’t fully remove your personal details, and when I emailed customer service for help, I never got a response. Because of that, I’ve ended up receiving a box I didn’t want.

Overall, the jewellery is decent, but the subscription terms and lack of proper customer support make it hard to recommend.

DO NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THIS BRAND SCAM. I received a message on my TikTok saying this brand wanted to PR with me. They gave me a discount link and I had to pay £5 shipping. I didn't read the T and C and later found out that it was minimum 6 months enrollment in this PR thing, and the price each month was upped to £13. My fault for not reading the T and C yes, but I emailed and said I would do everything they listed on the website I had to do to cancel, and they said no over and over again. 4 months in they stopped sending me packages, but still charging me £13. I called my bank and asked them to block them which they did, but on the next transaction they changed the merchant name by adding in some more spaces so that the bank would think it is different. Luckily I had emptied my account because I didn't trust them, so I wasn't charged. Ring your bank immediately and ask for your details to be taken off of their website if this has happened to you, and report them!! The jewelry was also shockingly bad.

Totally scamming people first parcel…

Totally scamming people first parcel charge 5 pound postage and after started taking 12.99 pound postage now since September taking 2 postage for ring and silk box but only one received after all then October come charged again and same only one parcel been send out costume service terrible no one answered my email if they do just automated messages

SCAM - If I could give 0 stars I would

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! It’s a scam. They lure you in with the promise of affordable jewellery. The first box you only pay postage (£6.99) and then you’re unknowingly signed up to pay £12.99 a month. I had three payments taken before anything arrived and when it did it was cheap plastic rubbish that looked like it came out of a Christmas cracker. Customer service is non existent. No one has replied to my emails. I had to go through the fraud department of my bank to get the payments stopped, as once I’d cancelled the DD, they just charged my card.

DONT BE FOOLED BY THESE SCAMMERS

this company is a scam. ‘free’ jewellery boxes but yet have taken a £12.99 payment from me. I placed my order on 15th of September. ITS NOW NOVEMBER AND HASNT BEEN DELIVERED. they are a scam, customer service is non existent. GET THEM TAKEN DOWN.

Placed an order in September as of the…

Placed an order in September as of the 4th November still not arrived. Contacted them in October after the month had passed to be advised it was on the way. I have not emailed twice to cancel my subscription and they have taken payment! The fact that you need to email to cancel and can not manage this in your account is very annoying.

Slimy disingenuous company, STAY AWAY

Very slimy company who do not make it clear when signing up for a discounted box that you tie yourself into a 6 month contract by doing so which they will not let you cancel.
They do not reply to emails asking for clarification or to cancel. Ive also been charged for 2 boxes and received neither. I cannot cancel through their website nor can you remove your card details. STAY AWAY FROM THIS AWFUL COMPANY. A quick tiktok search shows how common this issue is.

Disgusting customer service and company

Can you please reply to my emails ASAP - it’s disgusting I have not had my order and a further payment has been taken. Please refund and stop future payments ASAP. I have emailed and no response. Review was raised a defamatory but it isn’t. Please respond to emails sent and do not take any further payments please.

It’s a scam company

It’s a scam company. I placed my first order in September, they auto enrolled me into a 6 month contract without informing me which I found out when I emailed and eventually got a response. They stated they can’t cancel subscription in the 6 month period but also kept avoiding my question when I raised the point they’ve not sent me a single thing have but tried continuously to take money from me. I have still not received a thing from them and have had to report them to my bank

Don’t value customers or their…

Don’t value customers or their reputation, as you can tell from all the comments!
I have been emailing for a week to get hold of them to cancel my subscription. I too was fooled by the fine print of 6 months minimum, which was fine. I stated in my email I was happy to wait until the 6 months was up and THEN cancel. They ignored me. Sent another email 2 days later asking for a response. No reply. So I am now going to contact my bank and explain the situation and get the payments cancelled going forward. It’s a shame they have no idea how to handle customer service as I originally was giving them an out and was happy to wait the 6 months but the no response has led me to change my mind and get the issue sorted. Word of advice, if you’re opening a company, customer service should be at the forefront of your minds. Try this next time and maybe you’ll get better business reviews 🙂

absolute scam- insane fine prints

I've had to replace my bank card as they've left me with no choice. originally they reached out under the ambassador programs where I would receive 50£ worth of product for free. In reality it was cheap jewellery and the initial shipping cost started at £5 which I didn't mind, but then they took out a reoccurring payment of £14 for shipping. When I asked to cancel the program, I was led to find out all the sneaky fine prints they add on their website which make it so much more difficult to leave. some of the sneaky prints were that you had to be in the program for at least 6 months before you are even eligible to cancel. Another one was that the shipping prices at the time vary from £7-£14 which is bizarre as my first shipping price was £5. After going back and forth with their customer service, i just ended up getting a replacement card because they made me authorise the first payment which led to future payments going through. would never recommend this place to anyoneeeee

I still don’t get refund since 27th August. I have sent emails but still had no response. I don’t have reference number. I find this very difficult to get thru you for my refund urgently. I still never received delivery at all.
