Scam
Never, ever ue this service. they will try to seduce b offering low prices, but in background, they will make u pay more. i have already contacted few legal representatives. this sim.de company havent replied or responded. even if it costs me more money, i will make sure, they will face the fine for stealing my money.
Horrible scamming company!!! Be aware!
If I could rate them 0 start I would! I bought what seemed to be a nicely priced phone service (not cheap, but still nice). Then I started getting bills 150% the actual price, around 5+ months in, I start getting 220% plus bills, for no reason. I call their service, a guy picks up, a complete incompetent rude man! Answers the phone and won’t let you speak. Interrupted me every 2 second by screaming at me and made me so angry I ended losing my cool. Eventually I’m telling this idiot that I got charged too much for no reason. He interrupts me again shouting at me talking over me, he answers it doest matter you obviously deserve it. I am at this point thinking to my self “who the hell is this guy to tell me what I deserve when I am telling him facts”, the next thing he’s doing is shouting.Talking over me not letting me explain that I got charged again too much, at this point I am telling this incompetent idiot I was charged for making calls to the exterior apparently that I hadn’t made, and his response is talk to someone else, gives me an email and hangs up.
Now I was nice from the start till he started talking over me and screaming at me first! What a service this company has when they scam you! They tell you to go find your money! I disgusted and now getting out of this scamming contract with this CRAP SCAMMER COMPANY!
Don’t ever trust sim.de for Phone number porting from old provider
I was using LYCAMOBILE as my SIM card provider and then I changed to sim.de provider because of the good data and network offers, I needed my old Lycamobile phone number so the sim.de provider promised me that they will port in my old number in 15 days or so, now it’s been more than 2months and sim.de is literally finding small errors each and every time and refusing my portal request, they are not even explaining or communicating exactly what is the issue behind and keep on disappointing.
I really don’t recommend a porting service with Sim.de. Very very dissatisfied and disappointed ☹️
STAY AWAY
their prices might be a bit lower than big name companies but there's a reason why. coverage is very bad in big cities, I cannot even imagine how it is elsewhere. you have to pay for every change, *even if you want to switch to pricier tier* you have to pay obnoxiously high fee to do so. I took a contract without 'Vertraglaufzeit' to be flexible, which you again have to pay an obnoxiously high fee for, but even with this kind of contract you have to give them notice 3 full months (!) in advance that you want to cancel your contract. it's a scam. terms are horrible, support is horrible, coverage is horrible. play it safe and go with trusted carriers, they often have discounts and often you don't even have to pay to start a contract.

Absolutely garbage customer service
Absolutely garbage customer service. After contacting multiple times via contact support, they never replied. Even though they marked my inquiry as "SOLVED". It's been 17 days since I am trying to contact them.
I have been using sim.de for almost 2 years. The price and connection was decent. But, the customer service experience really let it down.
Customer service is the worst.

They do not care about customers, they do not reply to requests unless you insist. You can find better than this.

If you struggle with German
If you struggle with speaking German, you should definitely find a better company. I've called two times asking to speak with someone that could speak at least a bit of English but nobody was able to. However I had to try with German and finally I found somebody that was nice enough to help me.
Other people from customer care were not polite when knowing that my German was not that good. I quit my contract and now I will find a better one that not only provides good internet at an average price as one that also has a good costumer service and also speak English.
Just a scam company..
They're trustable
The customer service works up until late at night but they are friendly. The only problem is long waiting times - that's why one star less. Otherwise they deserve a thanks from all the users for providing such cheap internet, calling and SMS. I also find it annoying that Datenautomatik is on by default.
No mobile data
I am not sure how else to contact sim.de so I will leave a review which I might change after getting a response.
My mobile data won't activate and I would like to be able to use it after two weeks with my new sim.
