Careful of the Simba Hype

Bought this mattress because of all the rave reviews and that ir was manufactured in the Uk. Their advice was to leave it 1 month before doing anything as it takes that long yo get use to a new mattress. I bought the hybrid pro not cheap at £800 but doesnt feel even and it is too soft at the side.trying to return it and getting no joy. They have put every single bocking technique in the book my way. First the CS contact for does not list returns as a reason , second their returns form did not recognise my order no, Third twhen i got through they said they were Simba canada and i ordered from the UK and then finly when after 1 week of trying the form asks me a 74 year old waiting for a hip replacement to lift the mattress turn it over and take a picture of some lable on it. Really?

Back pain from hell!!!

We purchased our first mattress together in May 2018 after saving for a long time for it, it was great for the first 12-18 months but over the past year it has massively dipped either side and we feel like we have a big hump in the middle of us. After a few weeks over this we decided to turn the mattress round, since doing this we have both been waking up with awful back pain and having to take tablets at 4am in order to sleep the rest of the night - mostly unsuccessfully. I am so disappointed as this was an expensive purchase for us and we only got it as we were advised it would be guaranteed comfort.

Scammers Stayaway

STAYAWAY.!!! This cowboy company I purchased a Simba Hybrid Duvet with Stratos on the 13/01/2020. On there website they claim this Duvet keeps you warm when cold and cool when hot.?? What a load of RUBBISH.!!!! Tried to return it back but all there promises of collection never happened. Lie after lie, I had to get trading standards involved wrote two letters to there address of complaint both letters were signed for but never got a reply back, but now the third letter will be court. They are scum a fraudulent scamming company STAYAWAY from these low life scammers.!!!

Waited 3 weeks for a mattress that…

Waited 3 weeks for a mattress that never arrived. Wrote to them 6 times, with numerous people in the team telling me it'd be fixed straight away. They never dispatched anything in the end. Canceled the order for a refund. Appalling customer service.

Terrible experience with the mattress…

Terrible experience with the mattress and customer service. Not a reliable and long-lasting product.
We were happy with the mattress within the first 100 days and we decided to keep it and even we were thinking to order another one for our spare room. However, and with the greatest regret, the mattress has lost its stiffness just after the trial period (i.e. 100 days) and me and my wife woke up with severe back ache every morning after that for few months until we ordered a mattress from Ikea. The mattress turned out to be like a cheap spongy mattress with no sign of memory foam or controlled elasticity. I am absolutely disappointed with the mattress and its quality and it seemed to me that mattress only retains its properties up to the first 100 days which is under warranty. I had contacted the customer service about this and they sent an investigator which agreed with my concerns but told me that he could not do anything about it as there is no visible deformation/depression in the mattress. I emailed Simba and expressed my disappointment about the inspection and let them know that Simba produces memory foam mattresses and these kinds of mattresses should be examined for a fault considering its properties and types of failure modes rather than deformation criteria which are typical to sprung mattresses and not memory foam. The response I have received was disappointing and customer service failed to rectify the problem and address my complaint. It was a frustrating experience which costed me good £700! Avoid Simba! If you like a memory foam mattress go for the well-known brands such as TEMPUR

Poor Experience- Thus far!
Ordered a bundle through Simba including removal of the old mattress. OK communication from the FIRST delivery people. We like others offered to move the mattress downstairs for ease, this was warmly revived so we did! Delivery tells us the 30 minutes away, as promised, so we moved the mattress outside. FIRST delivery arrives only to tell us they have no room for the mattress to be removed. These things happen it was quite late on a Friday evening, no worries. Spoke to their "boss" on the phone who was very apologetic, and assured us they would have it collected Saturday and a note had been added to account. OK, that's fair. Told the them the mattress was outside, so to just collect it. Saturday arrived, we received a phone call from Delivery number TWO, stating they had not even been told what they were collecting and that there was no way he could pick up a mattress. They did not even come to the property!OK, trying to be nice! Contacted Simba, yet again...Got the same TALK, that this is unacceptable blah blah blah! Told a collection was arranged for Sunday, and they had given the depot a "mouth full"..Sure! Informed them on Saturday that i would be at Remembrance Parade on the Sunday, but the mattress was already outside so please just collect it. At exactly 10:58 am they start to phone me. I obviously ignore it until after the parade. On calling them back they refused to take the mattress as it was wet! No surprising really, as it should of left on Friday. Tomorrow is 1 Week until the new arrived and the old was due to be removed. Yet we are still looking like tramps with our mattress in the garden. We have had no further phone calls, and the only correspondence is from one of their "chat" workers. And while i appreciate the effort of the individual it is clear that little is happening. The last correspondence asked if i have had a phone call from anyone yet? From who Simba, certainly not! From the collections company, why would they contact me direct when up until now they only time is we hear from them is when they are due at the property. Unacceptable and STILL unresolved. Free mattress for anyone who wants to pick it up.
DO NOT ACCEPT ANY NEW GOODS FROM THEM UNTIL YOUR OLD GOODS HAVE BEEN REMOVED, DON'T TRY AND MAKE LIFE EASIER FOR THEM! It back fires.

KIngs of incompetance!

Incredibily diappointed with the 'service' provided by Simba.

Our delivery was scheduled to be made between 7-9am on Wednesday. We got up early that morning to move the old mattress downstairs (to make collection easier for the delivery team). We had also been told that we could expect contact from the delivery team up to 30 minutes prior to the delivery taking place.

The message I received at 8.30 that morning was not what we had hoped for. It basically said there was a problem and we would not receive our delivery that day. Firstly, why on earth did they wait until that morning to tell us this? Surely, they should have known the day before that our delivery wouldn't happen?!

I contacted Simba via their live chat - the fact that they don't even have a contact telephone number speaks volumes! I requested someone call me to discuss the matter. In the mean time, I also contacted the delivery company to find out what the problem was. Apparently they had only received 3 out of 5 of the items for our delivery (we purchased a bundle). This meant that delivery would not be made until they had received all 5 of the items.

A lady from Simba called me to discuss the matter. Firstly, she admitted that we were not the only customer affected by delivery problems. She then went on to say she was looking at the tracking for our order and that it showed as all received by the delivery company. I questioned this and asked her why the delivery company were telling me that they hadn't received the full package. She finally conceeded that there did appear to be a problem.

At this point, I specifically told the lady that I did not want any further contact from Simba until they could gaurentee me that they had sorted things out and the delivery would be made. I was very clear in saying that I did not want a 'maybe' or a 'possibly', I wanted a definitive date, even if that meant waiting until next week.

Later that everning, I received a message from Simba to say that the delivery would be made on Friday. However, when Friday came the delivery was not made and in fact the delivery company had still not received the missing items!

I emailed Simba straight away and told them to cancel my order. I have received a cancelation email saying that a refund will be made. I will be keeping an eye on my account over the next few days to ensure it does.

All I can say, is don't trust this company! They will lie to you and they do not care that they inconvenience you.

Maybe they might operate better if they made the minimum delivery opportunity at least 10 working days from the date of order. Either that, or just be honest and show when items are out of stock and knowing they can't fulfil orders.

Ignoring me and not returning my money.

Everything was fine until I had to return my mattress. They picked the mattress up but never gave my money back. It's been exactly 30 days since I've asked to return it. Now they just don't reply to my emails anymore.

Like many other negative reviewers

Like many other negative reviewers, I never received my mattress. I ordered on 23rd June and paid for the upgrade shipping with ArrowXL. Received confirmation from courier on the 25th and then they cancelled the day of because they apparently lost part of my package (duvet), so wouldn't deliver the mattress... okay??? It's now 11th July, over two weeks later. I've chatted with 4 agents and had a call with another and literally no one could tell me when my mattress will be delivered. I kept hearing, "reach out after delivery and we'll try and do something in good faith"... ummm maybe just deliver the mattress instead. I ended up cancelling my order because I couldn't take the run around anymore. I just moved to a new home and have slept on the floor every single night due to this issue. I hope they find a new courier or a better process for actually delivering a mattress after a customer places an order.

Horrible experience and terrible communication from Simba.

Summary: Terrible communication from Simba and not really helpful to solve the situation.

I spent weeks researching the best mattresses and beds before deciding to go with Simba.

I narrowed it down to about three companies (Emma, Matt Sleeps) and opted to go with Simba, as they promised the quickest delivery.

Everything seemed ok until I got the first notification from UPS that my address was not correct, several companies had delivered to this address and had no problems.

This was already a total let down as I had taken time off work to open for the delivery people and the delivery was delayed. I had also moved my old mattress and bed into storage anticipating the new mattress.

I emailed Simba regarding this and did not hear back from them, so I got in contact with UPS directly and updated the address, eventually Simba did get back telling me that they had emailed UPS... Great.

The delivery date was then updated to late afternoon, so again I took off early from work and awaited the delivery and was again disappointed as they did not show up.

Fast forward to Friday afternoon, the mattress cover get delivered and the sheets I ordered but no mattress. Which would have been fine had this been communicated but it had not, the email from Simba, gave me one tracking number for all four products I ordered including the mattress.

Eventually after a lot of back and forth, calls with UPS and emails with Simba (don’t think you can call them, they switched off their phone service) I was sent another tracking number for the mattress, with an undisclosed delivery date.

Meaning for the third night in a row now, I will be moving my bed/mattress out of storage.

I cancelled the order and have already ordered an EMMA mattress :)

You placed your order on Tuesday 16/04 and first contacted us on Thursday 18/04 at 10:27. We replied to your email on Thursday 18/04 at 12:36 confirming that we've changed your address with UPS.
You contacted us on Good Friday 19/04 at 13:17 chasing delivery of your mattress as you only received a part of your order. We investigated this and sent you an email on Good Friday 19/04 at 15:27 with the correct track and trace number for the mattress.
After this, you wished to cancel the order with us.

We do apologise if you find our response time too slow, but we would like to point out that our courier partner UPS don't work at full capacity in the Easter weekend. This is why the track and trace number was not updated at that time.

We advise you to not dispose of or store your old mattress before you have received your mattress to prevent any disappointment in the rare case of a delivery disruption.

Poor service.

Delivery mechanism is awful and customer service is poor if you buy through Amazon. No number to contact and veru slow response. Disappointed so far - can't even comment on the mattress yet!

A big mess from start to finish

Simba have also deactivated their phone line for customers, making communication incredibly hard - a cost cutting measure which is a big mistake.

Their choice of Courier (Keen & Able) have been utterly dreadful, sending me a barrage of messages for deliveries that aren't taking place, not responding to messages.

Great mattress, we love it!

Great mattress, we love it! It is comfy, soft and the memory foam just great.

Literally life changing.

Literally life changing.

I can't recommend the Simba mattress enough, we always believed we had a great mattress but we were so wrong. You may think I'm over-reacting, it's only a mattress after all, but I urge you to take the plunge and try the Simba mattress and you'll soon realise for yourself.
Both me and my partner prefer different hardness in our mattress so finding something that could be comfortable for us both was no easy task. The Simba is classed as medium-to-soft but the design of the mattress compensates to your own physical structure. It's not as enveloping as you may think a memory foam based mattress to be, it provides just the right amount of pressure and give where it needs to resulting in night after night of perfect sleep. There is literally no rebound which makes all the difference when you have such a light sleeper as my partner who would normally react and wake to any slight movement.

All in all, I would happily suggest to Simba to anyone and everyone, you should believe the hype as it's most definitely true.

I bought the SIMBA single mattress…

I bought the SIMBA single mattress about six weeks ago , I now have a great sleep , at last , I had a very expensive mattress before for about a year it was very uncomfortable, I had a bad back, I would recomend this SIMBA mattress I do not think you will be disapointed
