I had a consultation
I had a consultation. Received his write up two days later.
There was one sentence a small part of the procedure I did not understand.
So I emailed his secteray Jane back who is rude at times to ask MR Lee to email back what he meant in one section of what he wrote up in write up or to call me for few mins what ever was easier for him.
I was met with an email that he does not do this so i have to book another appointment to go see him.
Its a long drive. So if you live a distance then don't waste your time has if you have questions you have to go to the clinc and have another consultation wasting time as appointments are not that easily available , before you no it weeks have gone by waiting for your question to be answered .
Jane his secteray is a but aggressive and a gate keeper. Well i will take my 10 k and spend it else where

We are very sorry if any communications came across as anything other than polite. Mr Lee spends quite a lot of time with all new patients to make sure everybody is fully assessed and receives a detailed letter explaining all his recommendations. He also sees all patients twice before any procedure takes place to ensure a full understanding and provides plenty of time for questions. This second consultation can also take place by phone or Zoom since a lot of his patients travel a long way to see him. Any logistical questions are always handled by his secretary but technical questions regarding the surgery are always best handled by Mr Lee within a planned appointment and not an ad-hoc phone call. This means that clear records are kept and appropriate time is allocated for discussion and further explanation.
