Excellent quality. Made to last.

About 20 years ago I purchased a Power Cape for my electric wheelchair from them and have only just purchased a replacement!!

The 20 year old Power Cape is still holding up well, with just a couple of pinprick holes that let in a tiny amount of water so I'm treating myself to a new one.

I've put it through torrential downpours, muddy festivals and through 15min washing cycles and it carried on keeping me and my power chair dry for years.

They are really well made products that stand the test of time.

I also bought a backpack for my wheelchair from this company at about the same time and that is still going strong.

Canopy very poorly designed

Bought one of their scooter canopies for my Sterling Diamond scooter and found the following problems.

1> Unless you use the extension pieces then you have to stress the framework quite badly.
2> If you do use the extension pieces then the canopy top does not fit so you end up with either a non-fitting top or a stressed framework.
3> The canopy rubs on the back wheels as there are no cut outs for them.
4> After fitting the canopy, the scooter can no longer be parked in the shed due to the extra width created.
5> The dark interior creates a claustrophobic atmosphere.
I advise against wasting your money on this canopy. It has the same inherent faults as the universal canopy that I tried previously and the framework is exactly the same.

Update 22/04/2014 - Had engineer come round to ensure that I had fitted the canopy correctly. He placed the extension pieces at the back to raise the back of the roof. This did in fact help a fraction to alleviate the claustrophobic feeling and stop the canopy rubbing on the back wheels but it also stopped the canopy from being securely fastened to the bottom of the frame. Another couple of problems showed up when taking the scooter out for a trip. There are two blind spots towards the back caused by the material between the doors and the back panel. Also the front flaps around as there are fixing points but nothing in the kit to fix with. Still only got a very expensive tent for my grandchildren.
