Simon is an exceptional driving instructor, he is patient and calm. No matter what sort of beginner you are, in my case I had some prior knowledge on driving, with some bad habits, that he was great at training out of me safely. He explained how the car works and why it behaves as it does with different things I do, which helped me remember and understand driving more thoroughly.
He was always very kind and patient with me, if I stood at a roundabout for several minutes, Simon wouldn’t rush me, or tell me where my chances were to go, or say ‘that would be a minor for hesitation’ (which some people might get more stressed from), which I must applaud he always taught to learn driving, not to just pass the test. When we were on our way to do the test, he would ask me different questions but would give me time to answer and work them out, rather than drill information into me to just get the test passed.
On one of my beginning lessons, we encountered an angry-shouting and beeping- driver, and I got anxious and stressed, however Simon was fantastic at taking control of the situation from the passenger seat (still letting me drive), to calm me, make me feel safe and communicating with me, it was a bad situation but I left the lesson feeling very proud and achieved with myself thanks to that. I think it’s a sign of a fantastic instructor to be able to handle people situations not only the vehicles and roads. Similarly, when I had a very difficult lesson and I was getting very frustrated with myself, he caught on me getting upset, and we stopped for a little to catch a breath, he was amazing at talking to me, using funny yet helpful analogies (which I still use haha), and the rest of the lesson moved much smoother.
I am now a few months passed, first time round, I feel very comfortable behind the wheel, and am always on the roads, I still hear his commentary and quick rhymes and comments that helped me remember to check my mirrors or different techniques. I can’t recommend him enough to anyone looking to learn quick, well, and have a good time doing it.

The lessons where painless while also informative and the instructor was clear and friendly with no negative points to mention. I don’t believe I could have found a better instructor.

To be very honest, out of the 3 different instructors I’ve had before, Szymon is THE BEST!!! Most relaxed and professional, very patient and friendly!
