Simpler Selling, not so much trading
Simpler has turned into an indicator shop that has a new get rich quick training class every week or two for you to buy. Some of the options room moderators are good, some are best on mute. Be aware when you watch the webinars that they cherry pick the winning trades to highlight in the presentation and often past results may not be replicated in the future because the market conditions have changed since they did that trade strategy.

Buyer beware of the constant cash grabs
I have purchased the quick hits, quant pivots, as well as many other software packages from simpler trading. With both quick hits and quant pivots, I spent well over $2k USD. In the latest webinar, John Carter advertised combining quick hits and quant pivots in a new class. Very generous offers were given for a package that included both indicators, the class, and live trading.... Significantly cheaper than what I paid for both indicators alone! No problem, this company will surely give me a generous discount for having both indicators already if I just want to attend the class. When I asked the question on the live webinar, they refused to answer, and instead directed me toward the customer service number. Now I know why. I was quoted on the phone $600. For the class alone!!!! That's half the price of the damn package. I feel completely swindled by this company, and this comes off as a cheap cash grab, recycling two old classes into a new one. You might think I have already received the old classes, why would I need this new one?? Well, I was hoping to get clarity on how to use quick hits with entry and exit rules ( the original quick hits webinar claimed clear concise rules that would apply to every trade, yet during the live trading and then months later in the gold room, trades were taken and exited completely discretionarily and arbitrarily of the rules set forth in the class. Now we worry about 1 minute chart arrows, now we don't. Now we ignore a 5m arrow going against us, now we don't. We don't use the dots anymore. Then all of a sudden he's using completely different time frames, with different layout.( which by the way I was told was unavailable to you, and would not be found in the class indicator folder).)
$600 to attend the class (my job means it is not possible to attend the live trading, so it is little to no value to me) means the indicators combined are $600 also, completely screwing over early customers. And this after a webinar John Carter claims he supposedly averages $20k a day in trading profits(how much of the yearly P&L is course, room subscription, and indicator sales though?). Do you know we out here are not wealthy folk? We are teachers, we are civil servants, we are military service men and women, we are single parents, and it's $100 dollars for a loaf of bread, a few vegetables and something to drink. Do you all feel any shame setting these kind of prices toward your loyal customers? I'm done with this company.
It should be noted that my opinion toward Raghee and trendy John are completely different toward the company as a whole.... And some other traders within the company may be worthwhile, but I simply don't know about them, and I will amend this review after I have spent sufficient time with both of the advice, to better inform the trader wanting to make a smart education decision. For now, I have to advise you avoid any of the John Carter branded products/indicators/courses

ST and Strike Zone get 5 Thumbs Up!
I've been with Simpler Trading as a subscriber for 4+ years and it is quite simply the most excellent and valuable trading service I've ever used, and I've tried quite a few. I've learned a lot about options, and additionally have been a subscriber of the Strike Zone Mastery (SZM) futures service for 8 months now and just signed up for another quarter. SZM is a fun place to learn futures trading and Joe Rokop who runs the service is an excellent trader and quite a unique character! So to paraphrase Spike Lee, I can honestly say I love this joint and give it 5 thumbs up😁

Raghee Horner is a spectacular trader and a equally great teacher. Her team is nothing short of world class. I have been trading for about a year and have been in several trading rooms, RH's room is in a different class altogether. I have finally turned the corner in my trading and recommend to any trader who is struggling or just wants a system that is time tested, sustainable, profitable, and doesn't spike your blood pressure to give Raghee's program a try. The value is off the charts, the tools, the support from her team, and the benefit of learning from her 30+ years of experience make this a no-brainer.

Exceeded All Expectations
I am in the Sector Secrets Mastery Program with Raghee Horner and Lorna St.George. These 2 people are absolutely incredible. I have tried many other programs and spent far more money trying to learn to daytrade than I ever should have. I wish that I had started here first. I have only been in the class a little over a week, but I already know that what they teach is golden. The information they present seems very fast and overwhelming at first, "like a firehose" as Lorna says. However, if you just pay attention to their live streams each day and watch the included material (both recorded videos and printed), it will get easier as you go forward. Their method of trading is Options using a 0DTE or Weekly depending on the underlying being traded. They do maybe 2-4 trades per day depending on how things look, with some swing trades as appropriate also. You will need to set up a Cash account with your broker of choice if you don't have the 25K minimum to avoid PDT rule. I had to do this. It's important to mention that they go out of their way to make this information and program understandable for anyone regardless of your experience. They are SO patient and relatable with everyone. The trading room is full of like minded people who are very supportive of each other. Lorna and Raghee foster this spirit and insist on it. I am working very hard right now to digest all of this information. Once I do, I KNOW that I will be able to make consistent profits. You owe it to yourself to give this a try if you are considering daytrading. As far as I am concerned, 5 stars is way too low to rate these people!

They leave out a lot that a new user…
They leave out a lot that a new user ought to be told about BEFORE signing up for their training programs, indicator and so on, like all the additional proprietary tools they spend SO MUCH time talking about that cost a fortune, like how to interpret those squiggly lines (only one of their traders has done a decent job of that) and how it's very unlikely that you will be able to buy, install and run the tools they sell you in those package deals without spending at least that much more, usually a lot more, just for the computing power to handle the trading platform. I signed up for two of their "indicators" and the "training" that goes with it, and watched their experienced traders go into a lot of failed trades. I think I know where they really make their money. It sure wasn't from their trades they were making. My last two years of trading strictly with my own tools, indicators and rules have been a lot more profitable than anything their staff was able to demonstrate. I'll stick to my own methods instead of wasting any more of my time or money on this crowd.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: On March 13, 2024 I was contacted by TrustPilot and informed that Simpler Trading had requested more information, specifically my order number, my full name, my email address and my phone number, or my review might be removed from the TrustPilot site. I have a funny feeling it was because they didn't like it.

in general is the company really not bad....for the company working some famous experts like Danielle Shay and John Carter..both are aknowledge as legit traders....and the signals are sending in time frame..with definitely strategy...the signals are strong and quality...they streaming all the day comments about the markets..seem need a lot of time to follow them...the subscriptions price are expensive..this is a disadvance.....

The Good, Bad, Ugly.... both sides of the story...
I was with Simpler for about 1.5 years... approx.
In the nutshell, I learned a ton about how to trade options from John Carter, who I totally respect. John is without a doubt very knowledgable, and knows more about options than anyone I have encountered. Additionally, he teaches it very clearly and is by far the best options instructor I have come across hands down. However, his entries are often just plain horrible, meaning he chases and takes trades based on "theory", or what he THINKS will happen, or off an indicator instead of good solid price action fundamentals. I often wondered, "how can someone who has made so much money, and knows so much take trades like that?"
I don't expect ANY trader to not have losses. However, many of John's trades that I took were like walking out on to a frozen lake with thin ice and immediately falling in. Examples: RBLX, WDAY, IWM started a whole slew of losses. I shared the IWM trade with a friend who said "Bro, you are going long right into a head and shoulders"... and I argued with John's analysis, which was that he expected it to make new highs. That trade failed. He tried again, and it failed again.
Most of the other traders excepting Bruce, and Raghee are lacking in my opinion. The theme I heard consistently sounded like this: "it's going .... GET IT! " IE: they chase and do not understand basic price action. They are either chasing the highs or "shorting in the hole"... ie: at the lows.
Bruce is a solid trader and probably one of the best at SPX. Raghee is old school and solid. I just don't care for her style personally.
Henry sounds like he is reading in a monotone. He doesn't teach ... he reads.. He is not a good teacher in my opinion and he is very difficult to understand and he takes forever to get to the point.
He is a JC knockoff, has extremely complex analysis, and often violates basic price action/support/resistance principles.
Allison. I wonder why she is even there. The bulk of her trades are "lotto trades". If someone like Mark Minirvini heard that term coming out of the mouth of a trader who is leading students, his New York eyebrows would raise. I saw her take a trade on AMZN. All it said was "this is an earnings trade". That's it! She "bought" a put the day before earnings expiration, something John teaches NOT TO DO. I think it was about $1.00. I took a screen shot of the options chain knowing that the options would get crushed on the release. Even though the price went in her direction, that option went almost to zero. How can someone be on the Simpler staff and not know all the stuff John teaches in his earnings course?
Also, none of them understand or teach how to manage capital or risk properly. The lights went on for me when I started reading Mark Minirvini, William O'Neil and Dan Zanger.
I have taken what I learned from Mark Minirvini and William O'Neil and applied what I learned from John Carter about options and have had very good success.
Finally, no one I have encountered understands or teaches risk management like Mark Minirvini. One losing quarter in the last 30 years? That says is all.

I purchased the $10K to $1M Challenge…
I purchased the $10K to $1M Challenge Course. One month in and $10 is now $5K. After that we received 1 alert in the last 2 weeks. The teaching that was suppose to accompany the alert service is minimal at best. Communication between those running the course and students is confusing. There have been several IT issues as well. Questions are not answered. I an an experienced trader but new to futures which is why I started with this course. I paid for one quarter and after that I'm out.
