We love SimplyCook. We've subscribed for over a year now and we've never eaten so well. Vegetarian meals at restaurants are very very rarely as good as what we cook ourselves with these magic pots.... See more

Another rip off company that lures you in with a free sample in the hope you don't read the small print end up paying for something you don't want.
The law changes soon the stop this practice.
What they sent me for free was a load of rubbish and I've ended up paying for more rubbish.
A very good company to deal with
They send package fast
They have lots of different menus, all very simple to make, they even give you a shopping list of the ingredients to buy
I have tried several of their boxes, but we have our favourites
Unfortunately I dont like subscriptions, much prefer a one off purchase
But its nice to know they are still here
I would highly recommend this company
The customers service I received from simplycook was so quick and was excellent, I wan ted to cancel my subscription as I received my first box and thought it was not for me as my hubby is a fussy eater.
They accepted my cancellation with a kind reply,
I was very impressed.
Then I decided to try that first introduction box and cant believe how easy to cook and wonderful flavour in the
packets. I cooked the recipes for my son and his partner and even my ( fussy ) hubby said the flavours were great.
I have now apologised and asked today to be re-insisted with my subscription .
I do hope they will accept me back as I can’t wait to see what recipes will come next. They are so easy to follow .
Makes cooking so much easier.
Cant recommend this enough,
Regards
Margaret Walker
The recipes are brilliant, and the customer service, when I had a problem, did not let me down. Problem solved quickly efficiently, and in a friendly manner.

Excellent customer service. Supportive in sorting out my mistakes in ordering.

Excellent communication with customer service & solved my problem immediately without any fuss .

The recipe ideas seem to be good but this is a very expensive way of cooking! In general all you get is a spice mix and some stock, will not be continuing after the trial.

We have our favourites that we order every few weeks. We just order the flavour packs, not the all in whole meal, as that doesn’t work for me, but the ones we like & stick to are always good & elevate the meal to something a bit more special that can be cooked quickly with little fuss.

Dont order, unless you want a subscription ,Ordered a box for delivery cost only, then to find I've set up a monthly subscription by doing so, top and tail of it is, a free box worth £11.99 for delivery cost only at £1.75 has cost me £8.74 as they gave me 50% back and entered me into a subscription of £11.99 a month , I don't wish to have .

It might be ok for sum but if you have absolutely any experience cooking, the recipes are pointless and it boils down to nothing more than a few small pots of seasoning that most people could easily make themselves using a few common herbs and spices and cost pennies rather than pounds.

We have been using simply cook for about 2 years now and absolutely love it. Needed to contact customer service today, regarding stopping the delivery in May, due to holidays, and they were great. The menus are lovely. We have a lot of favourites.

I had to cancel my subscription and it was cancelled quickly and without fuss

I signed up for a free parcel from SimplyCook and paid the initial postage. However, I have been contracted into a subscription, which I do not want.
As a single person, SimplyCook will not work for me as I will have to eat the same meal two days on the run. It will also mean that most of the fresh ingredients will be wasted, as I would need to throw them away e.g. cream which has a short shelf-life.
I cannot cancel the subscription on the website, nor can I remove my payment details. This is unacceptable and not in line with treating customers fairly. I have emailed the company and awaiting its response.

"Free Sample, Just Pay For Postage" they said
Reality, they will start taking a subscription from you each month without you agreeing to it.
Con artists and dont give phone number. Even thier contact email has to be found through a google search (hello at simply cook dot com)
With regards to the product, yuk! Kept repeating on me all day the other samples went in the bin.
Update: I have no idea how to cancel yet somehow you replied to this public message and not the email I sent you.
I’ll ask here instead - Please refund, delete my payment details from your system which was illegally kept, and delete any personal data you have.

Very poor customer service!
SimplyCook do not have a customer support phone number… they are only contactable via their email portal.
I am vegan. I did not subscribe to the SimplyCook subscription service because there was not enough variety in their selection boxes. I made it very clear at the start of the process I do not consume meat products.
In spite of this, SimplyCook auto-renewed my order and sent me 4 chicken based recipes. This is unacceptable even for an algorithm. I have made several unsuccessful attempts to return this box to SimplyCook and get a refund for their mistake. SimplyCook have ignored all my emails. Also there is no way to remove my bank card details from their website. I am able to add a new payment card but unable to remove an existing payment card.
On the whole, this is a very unsatisfactory experience, with SimplyCook only interested when you are purchasing boxes from them.
They appear to make it very simple and straightforward to return unwanted boxes, but the reality is they ignore any and all attempts to contact them. So any returns cannot be actioned.

The Simply Cook Website is very misleading. It makes assumptions you accept a monthly subscription when applying for FREE SAMPLE via paying the postage. No Opt In/Opt out option And very last line of website states an acceptance of card collections.
This is sharp practice and NOT Conducive to good business practice

I was offered a free box from simply cook which I received however, unbeknown to me they took 12.99 out of my account then sent me another box from, I will be sending this back and I have emailed them with my unreserved complaint.

Order 13375898
Email to say my order would arrive on 8-9th April, nothing by 14th. I emailed customer services….wait longer they said with no regard to all the ingredients I had bought which were now going out of date. Made me wait until 16th April, then said they would post another box. Does this take 7 working days? All the ingredients I originally bought for the recipes are in the bin, do I buy more now or wait to see if this box ever arrives. Costumer services couldn’t care less. Never again.
