Received a quote from simply movers UK for moving. All communication with the first contact was perfect. Discussed needing them for a full day, size of van and the price for additional hours if our keys were delayed. Was given a fair price and time for our moving date.

I was then contacted by someone else in the company clarifying what furniture we had which we had some additional items (dining table, coffee table, tv unit and a sofa). We were then told they wouldn't move us! I said I don't mind if the price increases and had already agreed to overtime after 5pm. They said because it was a Friday they couldn't do it. Fridays are the day most people complete sales so this is very strange. Bearing in mind we are moving from a 2 bed flat it was not a lot of furniture in total for a professional movers which makes me think this is not a proper set up.

Honestly very confusing transaction but wouldn't recommend anyone wanting a reliable supplier.

Moved house last year with the wonderful support of Nick and his team. We were so impressed that Nick was our first port of call when we required temporary storage during decorating. Moved from Aberdeen to Edinburgh with a part-load. Ian and his team made everything very stress-free and easy. Got to sit in with the drivers on the way to Edinburgh which was highly useful, and very pleasant. They were also both really efficient in moving out and moving in the boxes. Would definitely recommend. Humane company:)
