The Simply Tajweed books are comprehensive and very useful. I am just about to complete the course, I'm on the last lesson of Book 5, and I think that my journey with Simply Tajweed has been really interesting and eye opening. The Qur'an has so many rules, and it made me realise that in order to cherish the words of Allah, you need to read them correctly in order to fully feel contentment. The Simply Tajweed books are written in a way that is understandable for all ages, and the layout makes it very easy to process. There are many different components to the books, such as Interactive Audios, Discussion Points, Keyword Alerts, and Exercises with Answers. The Interactive Audios are very helpful. The pronunciation is clear and the videos are short so that it is easy to practice. The database is very easily accessible, as there are QR codes to scan in each book. The Discussion Points allow you to think about each topic thoroughly through Quranic words, and the Keyword Alerts are very useful as they allow you to identify the important words within each topic. The Exercises are also really good when it comes to practicing/revising. I can tell that a lot of effort has been put into these books MashaAllah. Overall, I am really impressed with the Simply Tajweed course! ✨

I recently attended a series of educational sessions and was thoroughly impressed with the quality and structure. The materials provided were exceptionally well-organized, making it easy to follow along and reference key points. The interactive nature of the sessions was a standout feature. The quiz sessions added a fun and challenging element, reinforcing our understanding of the material in an enjoyable way. The course is designed really well to make tajweed a lot easier than it seems. As one of the first to experience using this I can truly say that each lesson has been planned with care and the difficult topics are constructed in a manageable and clear way. Personally SimplyTajweed is the only guide I needed to be able to learn the basics and more. Thanks to the carefully planned lessons learning to read the Qur'an with excellence never seemed too difficult. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is struggling to grasp the complex grammar in the Qur'an in a much simpler way!

So I completed the Simply Tajweed course using the online teaching alongside the physical coursebooks in the Summer of 2023.

I'd say the programme is a much needed addition to the way that tajweed is traditionally taught. It is incredibly well structured and thought out from the way the 5 books are divided up and broken down further into digestible lessons. The way the content builds lesson, to lesson and book to book is wonderful. The content flows constructively and cohesively. There is clear evidence of careful thought and composition of the programme throughout.

The online delivery is at a nice slow pace, which may be a little too slow at the start for those with a good amount of prior knowledge, however it ensures that the course is approachable, understandable and digestible by virtually all people regardless of age, ability and first language as is intended.

The course is very comprehensive, taking students from a basic understanding of the alphabet, to proper pronunciation of all the letters and their associated characteristics. It covers rules of tajweed (naturally!), and concludes by familiarising the student with the types of madd, along with unique one off places in the Quran which are pronounced differently. Each topic is brought forward in a timely manner so that the student is not overwhelmed with information at any point. Many bits of Arabic terminology which can often be complex and confusing for those unfamiliar, is translated and the English counterparts are used to reference the concepts in most cases so as to not lose the student which is wonderful.

Furthermore, a concept which sets this programme apart from the rest, is the sense of community that the creator has successfully managed to develop with the programme. He responds to questions above and beyond the scope of the course in a timely manner with sufficient explanations, and the activities incorporated into the online course help the whole experience feel less isolating than most online learning courses.

The course itself feels firmly grounded with academic backing. It feels sure of itself especially when dealing with different schools of thought with the recitation of the Quran, acknowledging their existence, however ensuring not to lose the student in rabbit holes of valid differences of opinion. This gives the student confidence in their knowledge, having written backing for the way they are taught to recite by way of this programme.

I can write much with regards to the merits of this programme and my strong endorsements of it. Despite the programme being in its infancy with some small hiccups which have been highlighted to the creator, it feels like a well thought out, well produced, well finished product. I strongly recommend it to anyone and everyone. From those who struggle reading the Quran, all the way to those who are proficient with its recitation. I cannot endorse this programme strongly enough. I believe that the science of reciting the Quran accurately is one of the most important things a Muslim can learn, and this programme is a fantastic way of going about it.
Going full circle, I feel this is a much needed adjunct to the way tajweed is traditionally taught. It makes no attempt to replace a teacher who would listen to one’s recitation and correct their mistakes. However, what it does successfully accomplish, is equipping the student with the knowledge and tools to apply the rules and correct understanding of tajweed in their recitation of the Quran. A teacher would be great alongside this programme to fine tune the student’s technique with the tools provided. Both are needed and would work synergistically in my opinion.

To conclude, Simply Tajweed is a fantastic programme of the highest quality, which I wholeheartedly endorse. I look forward to seeing this programme rolled out in schools and madrassahs and I pray Allah accepts this initiative, spreads it far and wide and makes it a means for people to connect more deeply with the Quran.

As a teacher I feel privileged to recommend ‘Simply Tajweed’ to anyone who wants to be connected with Quran. Tajweed is so important because correct pronunciation of the language of the Quran will reach the hearts of those who listen to it. That is why you must read with care, to absorb the meaning of the verses and to understand how to apply the laws and directives to your life. I would like to highlight few point regarding simply tajweed books.
The books are very well presented and designed. They have a good sequence and approach to the content that makes it easy to follow from start to finish. It’s a great resource for those who want to teach and for those that want to learn. It’s simple and straight to the point. There are a lot of books of Tajweed that are overwhelming. These books might, of course, still be overwhelming for new students but I believe it won’t take long to get to grips with. The inclusion of notes and extras. These add food for thought and a chance for further explanations.
I have enjoyed teaching ‘Simply Tajweed’ text books and would strongly recommend for both students and teachers alike as a valuable resource for learning and teaching Tajweed.

Simplytajweed is aptly named as it has simplified the science of tajweed, without overwhelming the students. The format of the books is very user-friendly, yet professional. The exercises at the end of every lesson provide a brilliant opportunity to test oneself and consolidate what has been learnt. It clearly showcases the sincerity and effort of the author. May Allah SWT accept it as a sadaqah jariyah.

The books take you through all levels of study, from basic to advanced. Additionally, the collective use of notes, diagrams and interactive audio creates an immersive environment for studying tajweed whether it be in the classroom or in your own home.

Simply Tajweed is an amazing course that allows pupils to expand their knowledge of the basics behind the Arabic letters and rules with the intention to eventually improve Qur’an recitation. As a former pupil and especially as a person who’s first language is not Arabic, I believe Simply Tajweed aims to help everyone and does not fail to cover in-depth topics in an easy understandable way that can later be applied to Qur’an recitation. Mashallah, overall a really beneficial course and something I definitely recommend.

simply tajweed is alhamdullilah very good to gain knowledge in tajweed starting with the basics then moving on into higher levels and understandings of tajweed. The books are extremely clear in the way everything is set out which makes it a lot more efficient for people to learn making it very useful. I have managed to see the books and it is so clear in the methods of tajweed and the rules are covered accurately. You can test yourself to make sure you remember which makes your knowledge in tajweed have a more of a long term effect if you use simply tajweed books. Using these books makes it a lot easier to revise because of the organisation of the book. When I was a student I had the first book of simply tajweed and it was extremely helpful for when I revised for my test. It has an answer section in the book when you do exercises which allows more practice and keeps it in your memory. Overall, I would fully recommend simply tajweed to gain knowledge in tajweed due to its simplicity which makes it easier for students.

As a teacher, I’ve found SimplyTajweed books easy to follow with its bite size approach to each Tajweed topic. All lessons are laid out in a manner which takes the reader through a journey of learning Tajweed from fundamentals to advanced concepts. Keywords and associated examples aid in learning new concepts with easy-to-understand explanations. The exercises ensure learning is solidified by students. This made my quran recitation a lot better and even gave me the motivation the recite the quran more often. As a parent and as a teacher, I find SimplyTajweed efficient, simple and easy to learn. It helps simplify Tajweed lessons to students and it is extremely useful for students to complete independent work at home. The- 5-book series are designed to help people at different levels of Tajweed. I strongly recommend these books.

My experience of using the course is as a student.It allows students like me who would like to learn about the way the Quran should be properly read. From a student point of view the lessons are very well planned and are very simple but are also in depth.The course varies,it has 5 books,by the time you have finished the course you will be able to read the Quran with proper and appropriate tajweed allowing the Quran to be read in perfection with by you.The books are very similar to gcse books as they are written in depth in writing and diagrams.the way the book is structured it allows you to enjoy learning the rules of the Quran and not just stare at a book filled with words,there are many activities inside the book which allow you to test yourself as if you are reading the Quran.I think the course is very good for people who are learning tajweeed from scratch but even for people who have a more developed understating of tajweed .Start your course and journey with Simply Tajweed.

Throughout my course as a student, I have enjoyed every aspect of the books and how well split it is into different parts. It has, as the name suggests, made tajweed simple to learn and grasp and has definitely improved my Quran recitation. From diagrams to mnemonics and practice questions, the books have everything one needs to be able understand and learn tajweed. The course is easy for anyone of any ages as it has made every lesson easy to learn and apply it to their Quran reading. I'm sure In Sha Allah that it will aid and be useful for anyone else that decides take the course.

When looking for a clear and reliable source of tajweed, I am so grateful that I found SimplyTajweed. Going through the first few pages, I immediately became hooked because of how well-put-together and digestible the books were. It is very understandable and I kept having the urge of reading more.
