We used Single or Double for our wedding reception. Our venue was dry hire only and we were concerned about how the bar would run. After expressing our concerns to a number of people we were told to speak to Kunal.

Initially sceptical, after our first meeting we realised signing up with Single or Double was our best decision. Kunal and his team are professional, skilled and highly organised! They made selecting the drinks for our event really seamless so that it was something we knew we didn't have to worry about. Kunal gave us his expert advice at every step of the process. When we had doubts about the quantities he listened to us and provided feedback on what we were thinking.

On the night of our event, Kunal and his team made sure the bar ran like clockwork. They were fast, professional, super friendly with our guests and went above and beyond to make sure we all had an amazing time. Our guests are still talking about the cocktails and how amazing the bar staff.

We would use them again and have recommended to them anyone planning an event.

Kunal and the team were professional and highly organised from start to finish. From the onset, Kunal guided us through the process seamlessly making it stress free to the reception event itself. Just unreal. We used Kunal and his team for our wedding reception, and the night was a blast. Our guests felt welcome, there was a personal level between the bar staff and guests, they even knew what to pour without people asking at the end! Kunal is very genuine and helpful, and gauges what sort of vibe you want for your event and tailors his approach accordingly. Amazing service provided by Single or Double events. From the very first moment we had our introduction, Kunal was very attentive and enthusiastic and assisted us at every opportunity before the reception started. He was responsive day and night in helping us to resolve any minor questions or queries and even sat down with us to fine tune our itinerary in order to maximise the bar service.

On the day of the reception, Kunal and team absolutely smashed it. My guests still talk about how fantastic single or double were and how amazing the service they provided. There was never any queues at the bar and the bartenders provided that additional touch of class and flare which all the guests loved.

We got married at North Mymms Park in Oct22, SorD was 1 of only 2 approved Bar teams for the historic sites, so we knew they had to be top quality and professional. We also asked around and everyone kept telling us to contact SorD as they had seen them at recent events and were impressed.

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was using SorD, the minute you start looking at the website, instagram and other links, you are impressed.
However talking to Kunal directly is the best part, he is so positive, energetic, welcoming but professional.
He always made himself available for communications from a web meeting to calls, emails and messaging.

He showed great flexibility and his pricing options really worked for us and showed confidence in his business.
Our wedding was on a Monday, which made it so hard for us to gage how to run the bar in terms of how much drinking would happen.
Not a problem for Kunal, he used his experience and helped us create a order/package that was varied, exciting and fair. All his little ideas he explained, which made you feel assured.
He took the time to ask about the potential crowd/guest and designed the drinks menu, for example we switched the champagne pre-reception to Welcome cocktails, which was a massive hit and his cocktails were excellent, the guest gave us so much positive feedback.

On the day itself, everything SorD agreed or promised was done to high quality, we would even say above and beyond on some of the details and service.
They did everything on time and professionally.
The bar was run so smoothly, looked smart, clean and always moving but with great interactions.
The SorD team were amazing with our family and guest, so many people praised them to us.
They also worked really well with the other suppliers, we just enjoyed our special event with full trust knowing SorD were handling what they needed to, which was a great piece of mind.

Best service, best cocktails

Met these guys when a friend hired them for her 40th birthday.

Can't rate them high enough. The cocktails were delish and they clearly went out of their way to make the night perfect. After they left the place was spotless. 10/10

Fabulous company. The cocktails are the same quality as a cocktail bar (if not more delicious) but from the comfort of your own home. The service and delivery is excellent. Highly recommend

Top quality and service as always - great company!

SingleorDouble events were incredible! We hired them to serve at our wedding and they were brilliant all night. No one had to wait for a drink, they were great at making cocktails on the spot, their bar looks great and there wasn't a single complaint!

In the run up to the event Kunal was great at listening to what we were looking for and very flexible which made things so much easier. We will definitely be recommending them to our friends and family.

The Background:
I got engaged in 2018, and scheduled to get married in May 2020! and like most couples in 2020, we had to postpone our wedding; and so, we got married in May 2021. However we wanted to throw a party so planned our reception for Oct 2021.
After our wedding, we decided to have a little break and start liaising with our suppliers again for the reception in mid-July, only to find out that our originally booked catering company (in which we had already paid 25% deposit!) went into liquidation! Note they were also going to provide us our drinks package too!

Fast-forward to July 2021:
I randomly came across Single or Double events on Instagram and it was a bloody good thing I did! The initial call with Kunal was like we had known him for years; like he was our original drinks supplier! He was honest, listened to us and was on it from the very first call! Kunal also went above and beyond when we requested him to make 170 small bottles of cocktails for the guests to take home. I have to say 'Scot Garden' is an amazing cocktail - sweet, tangy and refreshing! He understood our predicament, having lost thousands of pounds from the original supplier, he made sure that where we could save money, we would. His level of experience and expertise showed on the night, arriving on time, if not earlier and setting up the whole bar to the dressing the cake/champagne table and allowed me to take a bottle of tequila rose to the dance floor!

I cannot thank Single or Double enough for coming to our rescue at such short notice and doing a phenomenal job. The bar was FULL for the whole night and the whisky and rum was 'sold out'.
His loud, quirky and enthusiastic personality is what made us feel so comfortable to work with. We didn't have to worry about a thing from the moment we booked him.

Although, we've only knew Kunal for a short amount of time, he has definitely left a lasting impression and we would 100% use Single or Double Events if and when the opportunity allows!
