I was tempted to create a profile/membership on this site recently. As soon as I had completed the opening of an account and paid £31.74 for a 3 month membership I was notified the account had been cancelled. Could not therefore log back in to rectify anything. Their ‘Contact Us’ which I did 4 times resolved nothing they just kept giving me various logging on options which all failed. I should have read the reviews on here first. Everyone advising to avoid the site. My personal information is now with this company and probably being used inappropriately. Playing on people’s vulnerability. Avoid at all cost.

Many/most profiles are out of date, probably explained by the fact that you can't delete your account! Used by many scammers - I had 10-20 per day! This website should be shut down.

How come all the reviews are 1 star and yet the overall rating is 2.5?
I am concerned about how this agency operates and there is no information about the possibility of a match. As has already been said there are very few appropriate matches offered and more often than not those that might have been interesting are no longer subscribers and so are unable to respond to your messages.
If the company are what they pretend to be, how come they are not responding to these negative reviews?

i tried paying with lloyds payment declined,tried other ways of paying cheque no,bank transfer no. this needs goverment to close down these dating sites,you cant remove your profile if you close down your account your profile stays and they carrying on using it

Joined the site 4 days ago, nobody genuine has contacted me, written about 50 letters none answered or the profiles are a long term dead. The only people who contact via sending you an email and making you a favourite. I always reverse google the image of the woman, 95% of them are scammer, so I made a point of taking them down or reporting there account to admin. All complaints are ignored, all reported profile still up. These profile are the money making side of the company........on one page alone you will have upto 10-15 porn models advertising there wares.....many are stolen porn profiles, I confronted 20 about it, one was stole the profile of Kimberlee Jay, another Kendra Lust....when confronted, they all say Yes I was a porn model but no longer do it.....reason is, they are not those people just stole there profile and photos......Kimberlee aka Evaluna was keen to visit me from Tyne and wear, she got no money though could I send her the train fare £200 plus......if joining, dont, its 75% porn photos and not really a genuine dating site. If you not subscribed but registered, they offer 10% off, if you do not pick up the offer, they reduce it further to 15%, if you do not take that, they reduce it to 25%.........do not be tempted, minimum join time is 3 months(may get a 3 day offer - but just try to cancel it after 3 Days-be warned) Tried to cancel my membership - they ask for a feedback of the site, I wrote one and they refused to accept it as it was a negative report.....kept getting timed out on every submission, also got in red, FORBIDDEN......writing negatively in the site diary is the same, timed out..writing to members about the site, blocked........

It’s only when you subscribe to full membership you realise, no matter who you like the look of, you cannot contact them, nor they you, unless they too have paid for full membership. Since by far the majority will have signed up only for basic membership, to try out the site, the possible contacts are few indeed. This can theoretically be overcome using “bolt-ons”, at further cost, except they don’t work. Apart from the fun of looking at the ones you might have wanted to meet, but can’t, it’s an expensive waste of time.

I found Singles Over 70 on Google. Looked on website and it showed people in my area and in right age group. I signed up. In minutes lots of “hits” but none in my area, some from Australia and a 34 year old (my grandson!?). Immediately I cancelled membership so was horrified to find my money had been taken. Contacted support. Was told that I needed to work through all their filters to find the people who fitted 70s and nearby. Why should one need to go through the faff of endless filters when it is sold as Singles over 70? When I requested a refund I was told ‘you have used the service’. 10 minutes ‘using the service’? I have since contacted their support several times a day, but nobody has the courtesy to reply.
Days later, 5 January and still no reply. As I cancelled subscription I can no longer log on even if I wanted to! Avoid avoid is my message
