I like the results presentation. On negative note, analysis took 4 days after lab receipt of specimen. Also did not test for LPa as they said there was not enough blood sample. I sent exactly as instr... See more

Helpful, delightful, competent
Una was a delight. She was careful to explain every step so that I could do what needed to be done. She is a great encourager and knew how to make me feel at ease,
Although I have had blood tests in the past, this is the first time for a self administered one. She probably followed a script, but her reactions to me felt personal and even spontaneous.
At one point in the process, I disconnected the call by pressing the wrong icon. Happily, when I tried to rejoin the call, she was waiting for me!
She double checked the materials I had laid out to make sure I was on track with the requirements. The experience was a success.
Una Alispahić from SiPHox Health was understanding
Una Alispahić from SiPHox Health was very understanding in helping me with the blood draw part of the survey. She had facts to help me as well as being personable and compassionate about my problem with getting blood to flow from my fingertips. She was understanding and patient in the process. I felt she was on my side.
SiPhox caught my undiagnosed Type 1 diabetes
To cut to the chase: SiPhox caught my undiagnosed Type 1 diabetes, likely saving me months of additional damage to my body and lord knows how many dangerous complications.
I took a blood test with SiPhox (their heart and metabolic health panel) out of a general interest in my long term health and wellness, knowing it included tests that would be difficult for me to get through my doctor's office. I was a little skeptical given the low cost for such a wide array of panels, but the experience was easy, and the results lined up with tests I wound up getting later through my doctor's office. The HbA1c number jumped out, and it also caught a very low c-peptide - the combination of which indicate low insulin production and the likelihood of Type 1 diabetes. They flagged that in their online system, and shortly after I even got a call from them to flag the numbers being so far out of the norm. My doctor's office confirmed the test results and then did some more specialized antibody tests to confirm it was Type 1. I don't know how long it would have taken for me to realize something was wrong absent the SiPhox test, but catching it absolutely allowed me to get my blood sugar under control and avoid more damage to my body, likely adding months or years of healthy time to my life. Best $100 and change I've ever spent, by several orders of magnitude.

Manufacturing delays hobble a great service
My initial interactions with Siphox were fantastic. I didn't send in enough blood my first time and they sent a replacement kit promptly for free. I got my results back quickly each time. I was so impressed that I ordered some kits for my wife. Well, that was a month ago. They keep saying they're trying to contact someone in fulfillment and try to get it as soon as possible. After much back and forth, they finally admitted the kits don't exist. (Not so) apparently, there's a problem with their manufacturing of the kits. I suspect it's the easy draw device. It worked wonderfully for me, so I'm not sure what the flaw is. Either way, if they would've been upfront and honest about the kits not even existing, that would've went a long way with me. When it comes to health, time is of the essence!! Just put on your website that these kits are on back order. Problem solved.

Little useful advice
I appreciated the insights into the meaning of the various tests. The recommendations weren't that helpful because I'm already doing most of those things. There was no way for the reviewers to know that since they don't collect any historical information. 'Change your diet and exercise more' is advice you can get from any website. Overall, rather disappointing.

Continuous delays and issues
Continuous delays and issues. I had issues with my April kit - partly my mistakes, and partly issues with scheduling a call - I'll share the blame on that. Until I was able to send a good sample and that took 2 weeks to process. Since I finally got my results in June, with help from support, I delayed my July kit to August. I confirmed the August date several times in the portal. But in August, someone on your team decided that since I "skipped" my July kit, they canceled the August delivery, and reset it to October(this is what they told me when I inquired). On Aug 22, when I showed them the correspondence confirming my reshedule, they said they'd process my order "tomorrow". So I finally got my Aug 22 kit on Aug 29, and the results came back on Sept 12, I received a message saying the sample was inadequate and my results were incomplete. When I inquired, I was told that was not the case, and sure enough, I did have results (but the text clearly said my Sept test was faulty). BUT, per your support team, they did not do the "wellness+" test that I paid for, so the markers I wanted were not reported. So they sent me a replacement kit. I was able to submit that on Oct 9, and then I was told on 10/15 that there were "discrepancies" with the lab work and you'd like to send me a new kit to retest. I still have NOT been told if I should even read my latest report or what the problems were. But as of 10/16, I still don't have results from my August kit, and my next order would have been next week! Obviously, I've delayed my next order, so my 4th quarterly kit for 2025 will take place in January?...February? Who knows.
I always get an apology (many, many of them), and a "we want to make this right". But refunds seem pretty difficult to get. I'm still working on the assumption that another kit will be sent (3rd try) and I still don't know if my current report is meaningful.
I see their reply to my review, PUBLICLY saying they'll reach out to me to clarify things. Their reply does not grasp the actual problems - I know how to reschedule. The point was I had to do so due to testing issues, and then my order was canceled because they interpreted my reschedule as a "skipped order". And, they don't acknowledge that when I did finally get the order that they canceled, they performed the wrong test and I had to retest. And then when I retested, they said there were issues with those results and asked me to retest again(they said due to lab issues) and asked me to test a 3rd time. But they've never followed up to explain the issues or whether my report is worth viewing. In reality, they've completely stopped replying to my emails and support requests. I've assumed they're written me off as an unsalvageable customer who just complains too much. It's true - unsalvageable, and complains when given good reason.

Una Made My Blood Collection Easy and Stress-Free!
I recently had a wonderful experience with Una at SiPhox Health Support Team, and I truly appreciate her help! At first, I thought I could manage the blood collection myself by simply following the instructions. Unfortunately, my first attempt didn’t really work out, so I decided to call for assistance. Una was amazing! She took the time to patiently walk me through the troubleshooting steps, which allowed me to successfully collect three tubes of blood. Her expertise, patience and encouragement transformed what could have been a stressful situation into a smooth process. I’m looking forward to following my blood travel across the country for analysis and am excited about the next phase of my health journey with SiPhox Health. Thank you so much, Una!
Quick, Easy, and Painless
This process is so much easier and better than the finger prick method which I used during the last year. Although all the material you need to use for the blood draw may look intimidating, Barbara was outstanding in walking me through step-by-step what to do. She was very patient, knowledgeable, and professional, which made the entire process go both smoothly and quickly.
