Sixt Ride in Zurich and…

I was using Sixt Ride in Zurich and Brussels, drivers never are on time, they should be standing with a sign waiting for us and not the other way around.

The communication right after the landing with the driver was excellent.
His attitude and friendliness was suberb.

Terrible communications leading to frustration

Booked pick up LHR T4 after flight scheduled to land about 12:00. Arrived in Arrivals about 13:00 and no driver. Wanted to contact SiXT to ascertain reason for this but there are no phone numbers to contact them on any information or documentation. Much searching on Google found a UK number and after much discussion and transferring to different people finally got to talk to the driver. Apparently I had booked a 90 minute buffer which meant that then driver was not going to appear before 14:00 although this was a surprise to me.
The driver was officially unable to contact me until they arrive at the Terminal and I had no way of contacting them. The driver was only 20 minutes away and agreed to come to the Terminal and picked us up and took us to our destination quickly and efficiently
SiXT really need to facilitate their communication systems and at least allow their customers to contact their representatives in the appropriate country and preferably the driver to avoid unnecessary tension and uncertainty. Why the secrecy about phone numbers? It serves no purpose other than to frustrate their customers and drivers.
SiXT will not be on my preferred supplier list next time

Booking premium chauffeur services through Sixt Ride is incredibly straightforward and user-friendly. My driver was exceptionally professional throughout the entire journey. The favorite driver feature is a game-changer—I immediately added my driver to my favorites, and I'm delighted that I now consistently get paired with the same excellent driver for most of my bookings. This consistency makes every ride feel reliable and personalized.

Ok, but not better than regular taxi

General mechanics of ordering a car are like with every other competitor.
I was missing the option of deciding on my pick up spot myself in the app. I also had to tip the driver in cash, as there is no button for it in the app.
The cars are regular taxis (in Germany), which are usually not in the same good condition as UBER premium. Price is pretty much the same.
I had to sign a receipt after every trip at the drop off, where I still do not know why.
To sum it up: Ok, but far away of being good.

Used twice - very satisfied both times. The airport transfer in Palermo / Italy to the apartment and back went smoothly. The driver picked us up in the airport lobby and drove us safely to the city center in a clean Mercedes E-Class. Water was provided for passengers in the car.
