Sarah responded very promptly to my general enquiry for a Homebuyer Survey of the house I am in the process of buying, with a competitive quote. Just four days after my acceptance of her quote she was able to carry out the survey.

During the survey Sarah was thorough and was happy to explain about the issues being found as she went along. The property was over 100 years old and Sarah found quite a few problems that needed sorting, some potentially serious and which I would have remained unaware of without her expertise.

The survey report arrived a few days after the inspection. It was very detailed and also written in a way that was easy to understand, with problems graded according to severity/urgency. It will definitely be a valuable tool in my purchasing decision on the house.

Sarah completed a Homebuyers Survey for a property I am in the process of purchasing. The survey was completed on time with a detailed and concise report being made available within a few days - very efficient and reliable.

I received an excellent service from Sarah. I called to enquire about obtaining a Homebuyers Survey and was given a competitive quote on the call. Sarah made all the arrangements for access to the property through the estate agents, freeing me from having to sort out any of that myself. She let me know when the survey was going to take place, which was only a few days after I initially called her. I received the report the morning after the survey was undertaken, it was very thorough and easy to understand. Sarah was absolutely fantastic. I searched lots of surveyors and got quotes and Sarah’s was competitive. She is also very open and honest- being trustworthy with this kind of thing is really important. She’s very quick to respond and communicate. Once completed, she sent me the survey the next day and discussed it extensively over the phone. Her advice was really helpful for us to give us the reassurance we needed. I couldn’t recommend her enough!

The service was very prompt, very thorough and reasonably priced, however there were several inaccuracies (typos mostly) in the administrative paperwork surrounding this service, both in emails and including one in the survey itself. A little more attention to detail is desirable.

I particularly appreciated the opportunity to talk through the survey report having read it. It enabled us to come to a sensible decision about the purchase of the property.

Having said all this, I would use SJH again.
