Great Customer Service
I am writing this review before I even receive my goods. I wanted to chase my delivery( was not even late ) just to keep an eye on it. Abbey @ Skandium replied almost immediately with more details. I feel reassured and confident about my purchases now. In this day & age this type of service is rare. Honest & open, that's all you ask for in these funny times.

Friendly, professional and personable sales and delivery staff.
After visiting the website and choosing a table we could then view it in the showroom and get expert advice there. The delivery went very smoothly. We were kept informed to the minute about arrival of our table. Definitely worth the wait. Great service.

Excellent Customer Care
I placed a sale order some time ago for two cushion covers and a glass plate. There was a supply problem so I received only one cushion cover but an extra plate.
I reported this and the issue was resolved very speedily and generously.
Then more recently another plate arrived unexpectedly.
I offered to pay for this rather than returning it and was told I could keep it because of my honesty.
I found the whole experience to be unexpectedly uplifting so I will make a charitable donation to pass on the "feel good" factor. My correspondence was with Luke Jeffrey from Skandium's Customer Care Department. This does seem to be a department which lives up to its name.

2nd review from me - still embarrassingly awful
2nd review from me. Previous poor customer service continued after ordering an "in stock" item that subsequently turned out not to be in stock and I'd have a 6 - 8 week wait. Order cancelled, refund received. OK, end of story right? Nope.
8 or so weeks later I started getting confusing messages from Skandium saying they were delivering something to me, however their tracking system didn't work so I couldn't tell what was going on (I figured maybe someone had ordered me a gift?). I waited at home on the specified delivery day - nothing showed up. Waste of a whole day. Thanks.
Finally managed to contact customer service by email - was told it was their mistake, that my original cancelled order was actually sent after all "sorry for the inconvenience" etc. Was sent a voucher to buy something as an apology for wasting my time waiting at home (not really necessary but a nice gesture) however they have even managed to screw that up. Two weeks later and nothing has even been sent yet. Multiple emails to customer service and several promises to have it sent asap simply not kept. If his is how they attempt to fix a mistake why would I come back and spend my money here? They haven't managed to fix anything, they've only made it worse.
I have to say my experience is that these guys appear to have no clue about what they are doing. I won't be shopping here again and highly recommend that you look elsewhere too.

Excellent Customer Service
We are really happy with the customer service at Skandium and chose to make our purchases with them because of this. Luke Jeffrey was prompt to reply to my queries, price matched one item and even threw in a bulb with our order which he helped us to choose. He provided realistic timeframes for supply and delivery and was knowledgeable about the products. It’s been a really good experience which is important when making a big purchase.

We have been dealing with Luke from the customer service department. He has been amazing. Our order has been significantly delayed and we have of course been frustrated but Luke has been fantastic in managing expectations and being extremely pleasant. We have been really impressive by the customer service. Luke was patient and extremely professional and reassuring. Even though we have had a delay on delivery of our order due to Luke we would very much consider using Skandium again.

High-Five Luke: The customer care is really impressive
The customer care is really impressive. I was unsure from the technical description if i had opted for the correct product (LIGHTING pendant v. table fitting). Luke was incredibly patient and checked that my order was correct. It gives me confidence to shop with this company again as no query is too small or obtuse. Excellent customer services
I wanted to buy some gift vouchers on Friday afternoon (for my wifes birthday), but the on-line link wasn't working. I sent an email through to the customers services email address and left a v/m on the phone number; within minutes a very nice lady called Claire called me back (I missed her first call but she tried me a couple of times). She mentioned a few functions on their updated website were having teething problems. I ordered the vouchers and within minutes the process was complete and an email had been sent with the gift card on. Claire was excellent and I was very grateful for her help and Skandium's customer service. Very good indeed. Alex
