Reception staff - and Will my chiropractor - are always friendly and welcoming on my arrival. In addition, Will is always prompt, warmly supportive and informative - and absolutely knows what he's doing, treating me with a deep understanding of what his hands and fingertips are telling him. My reason for seeing Will was a trapped nerve, which was so painful it was draining my energy and making it difficult to stay asleep at night. I received treatments initially twice a week from him for the first 2 weeks, and then once a week for the following 3 - at which point my nerve pain had entirely disappeared = no nerve pain at all after 7 treatments. Since then, I'm continuing with spaced out treatments for fine adjustments to be made in order to maintain optimum bodily functioning, with balance and flow, and effective connections within my nervous system - vital for my energetic and physical wellbeing (now at age 70). And I've promised no more handstands!!

I was accepted as a Tennis Elbow patient and told by the Chiropractor he had plenty of cases. I had six sessions of shockwave when it was clear from the beginning the SW therapy wasn't having any positive effect on my arm. In total I had about 10 sessions of 20 minutes where we would have a little chats as the Chiropractor would be watching the clock followed by a bit of treatment. Never exceeding the 20 minutes. I have the feeling the priority was revenue generated per minute rather than my tennis elbow. In the end, I went away, bought a book about neuroplastic pain and got cured myself. Closing notes - I appreciate revenue generation is important as long as it is done in an ethical way. My elbow wasn't your priority, revenue was.

Highly recommend them, I went to Jaimie and Dani for sciatica pain and they determined the route cause and how they get me to right place while also providing the information (in detail) in how I could maintain and improve my back. The whole team is lovely and friendly and go above and beyond what I expected.

I recently had a course of treatment from Jamie following an overuse sports injury in my knee. I highly appreciated the holistic approach, looking not just at my knee but at other joints which were impacting my knees, overall tension in my body and also at external factors in my life which could have played a part in the injury. I came away with a better understanding of the causes of the injury and exercises to prevent it reoccurring in future.

Within the first couple weeks I made a slow return to sport and within a couple months I was able to compete in tournaments with no anxiety about my knee pain flaring up. I would highly recommend Jamie for any similar treatments, he was thorough, understanding and proactive.

I cannot thank Alex enough for what he has done for my back and shoulder injury, His knowledge and expert advice has got me back on track.

Incredible service. Alex has gone out of his way to fix my quadriceps tendinopathy. I had tried everything and despite being from a medical background myself, nothing was working. Alex assessed and planned a clear comprehensive therapy and exercise regime which has meant I am now back to playing the sport I love at a high level. Coupled with that he has also helped me prevent the recurrent neck injuries I used to get. Truly fantastic service highly recommend

I will most definitely highly recommend Skelians,because if it wasn't for these guy's there,I wouldn't be walking around pain free,as I am right now,as back last year in October,I couldn't walk properly,and went there to see Dean,who's no longer there,and he said I needed an urgent MRI scan,which I eventually had at Gloucester Hospital,and it turned out I had a disc bulge,bless his heart,Dean got me back on my feet,but then at the end of January this year the excruciating pain came back,and I was now seeing Victoria as my chiropractor,and I can't thank her enough either,because she eventually sent a letter to my GP saying that I urgently need to see a surgeon a.s.a.p,but in the mean time,everytime I went to see her,which was every week,she tried her best to keep me comfortable,and then eventually I heard from Cheltenham General,and was referred to Winfield Hospital for surgery on the 1st July,and now I am going back to work gradually, as I'm in recovery,so the biggest thank you from my heart,to Dean and Victoria,for all of your amazing work,because if it wasn't for you guy's I wouldn't have my life back,like it is right now x ❤

I’ve been having back and leg pain for years so I thought “I need to do something about this” so I booked an appointment with ash, He gave me his specialised rockblade treatment which has really helped I can now walk a lot longer without pain so I could not recommend anyone more highly than ash. I’ve been seeing the lovely Alex for just two and a half weeks with a neck/shoulder pain issue I’ve had for many years. I was previously told by a physio that it was genetics and there were things we could do to mitigate the pain but it would always be there more or less.

Since seeing Alex (and Dean once) I not only am virtually pain free but I can visibly see the improvement. I never thought that would be possible and can’t thank him enough. He’s also the first person to explain exactly what the issue was and is going to show me how I can strengthen the right muscles to keep the issue from reoccurring which gives me hope that the future will remain pain free.

I also have a labral hip tear that’s been ruling my life for the last 15 months. After telling Alex about it he recommended I see the specialist physio, Jon, at Skelian, who gave me a steroid injection into my hip. Whilst it’s not cured it, the pain is so vastly reduced, it’s such a relief not having that to contend with also and being able to move virtually pain free. I got the appointment within days and it cost a fraction of the price of going to the Nuffield. It’s honestly changed my life coming to Skelian and I wish I’d done it years ago! Can’t recommend these guys enough!

I referred one of my players to Jonathan for a second opinion and a steroid injection of his ankle after 4 months of pain following an injury playing rugby.
Jonathan got the player into clinic within 2 days of my request and provided me with a thorough report on his findings. Jonathan injected the ankle which had an immediate effect on the players pain.
3 weeks later after a graded rehab programme the player has returned to semi professional rugby pain free and thrilled with the service he received. At a cost to the player that is significantly cheaper than other options available to him.

I would not hesitate to send another player to Jonathan and would emplore other sports medicine professionals to do the same if needed.

I am currently having treatment from Alex Bromsgove at Skelian, he is totally professional, makes me feel at ease and is getting to the route of a problem I have had with my back for many years...others have failed!

The care and treatment I've had from Skelian has been second to none! The whole team, from initial query through to treatment, has been great; I needed an asap appointment for an injury and was seen within 24 hours.
The treatments themselves have been well explained, why they're doing it and how it will benefit me, and administered with care and compassion.
I'm a month into treatment and it has already made a significant improvement to my health and wellbeing!
