We enjoyed a fantastic weekend on board the Polar Express weekend. We booked this to celebrate my sons 5th birthday and it’s been incredible. The journey was comfortable. The organisation amazing. The hotel great the food being good quality. Our driver Phil was great such a great driver, attentive & available if we needed anything. We shall be booking our next trip straight away perfect family weekender!

Matt Gale is a superb organizer and sets the right tone for the high quality enthusiastic coaches who bring out the best in the students. Highly commendable and highly rated. Every time our kids train with Matt's team they are thrilled. They learn a lot and their skills have improved. No screens needed for a fulfilling experience!

Matt and the team of coaches at Skills Coach provide engaging, fun, and always positive sessions. Their dedication to providing inclusive development age football for all abilities really makes them stand out. I've known Matt and a number of the team for five years now, both my children have participated and thoroughly enjoyed their holiday camps, club training, and 1-2-1 sessions. The enthusiasm the coaches at Skills Coach show for their work is as evident today as when we first met.

I can't speak highly enough of the team at Skills Coach – and this is not just because we've had one coach who has been a sympathetic fit, because we've now had three different ones and frankly everything has been positive ! My 13-year-old daughter and 10-year-old usually train together -- she has had a serious injury that hit her confidence badly but she really enjoys the sessions and it has really helped in that respect (as well as the obvious skills !) There is a good mix of skills, drills and fitness to keep both kids engaged. I can see proper development in both. The main thing for me, though, is that they get a good workout and look forward to the next session -- and it keeps them active, especially during these difficult times.

Over the past three years, my son has worked with Matt Gale and many of the other great coaches at Skills Coach to really improve his all around football game. He's attended weekly seasonal training sessions, numerous holiday camps as well as taken part in targeted 1:1 training sessions. Not only do Skills Coach deliver great technical sessions and relevant drills, covering both key defensive and offensive skills, they have always designed their activities to be packed full of fun. You can definitely see the shared football enjoyment and love of the game amongst both the players attending training and the coaching staff.

I feel that the Skills Coach team have been hugely involved in helping my son develop both as a player and as a person. He's learnt a great deal about proper teamwork, shared responsibility as well as how to implement newly learnt skills into games and match day situations. I recommend Skills Coach very highly.

Skills coach provides the best football coaching I have come across for my daughters. They love each and every session and have developed so much because of Skill Coach over the last few years. Highly recommended.

My son (aged 6) has been both to the summer camp and Saturday training and had such a great experience at both. Great coaching that really does involve teaching them skills for the game whilst in a fun environment. The staff are always super helpful and go above and beyond to deliver a great service.

Both my children (9 & 7) have really enjoyed Wednesday night sessions, holiday camps, Saturday mornings and 1:1s. They love football and they have loved developing their skills with Matt and the team. Both boys have been supported so wonderfully by the coaches. I would highly recommend.

My sons (7 and 10) have done group Wednesday sessions and some 1:1 sessions. They have both loved it. For my eldest his skills have hugely improved and for my youngest it’s been about his confidence. Previously he didn’t like playing football with his friends in the park but now he’s had a confidence boost, he loves getting involved.

My son, 9, has been to Matt Gale's football camps for a couple of years now. It's first-rate training, terrific value for money and most important of all my son loves every minute. The day is a great mixture of skills, matches and fun. The coaches encourage healthy competition but also a strong focus on working as a team and everyone getting on with everyone else. My son's play has improved no end: and he arrives and leaves with a smile on his face. Can't ask for more, really!

The Skills Coach team have been great with keeping up group sessions under Covid-19 guidelines and running their day camps but their one-to-one training has been truly fantastic. Only a few sessions have given my son the confidence he needed to bring more skills to the game and get more comfortable with his position on the pitch. New website making it much easier to book (thank you!). Would highly recommend the crew at Skills Coach for term sessions, holiday camps and one-to-one training.

We used Skills Coach for one on one football coaching for my 9 old son and also have attended various football camps and had a fantastic experience.
We had a range of different coaches but all have been very good, positive, enthusiastic and manage to keep my son motivated and happy throughout the sessions. The drills are very good and we have seen a marked improvement in his skill level!
