Paid for an item over 2 months ago that I still haven’t received

My husband ordered a Muse 3D RF skin device in June as a birthday present and when it arrived there was a fault with it charging so it was not fit for purpose . I contacted customer services and explained when I would be going on holiday but they sent another one out on 23 July while I was away but it wasn’t delivered to me due to no one being at home to accept it. If I’d known the delivery date in advance I would have made sure someone was in or arranged for it to be left with a neighbor. I contacted them to rearrange delivery of another one and received an email on 22 August stating: As the device was not collected, we first needed to wait for its return before we could arrange shipment of another.
Our logistics team has confirmed that the device has now been received, so a new replacement is scheduled to be dispatched either today or on Monday.
We are now in September and I still haven’t received it . This isn’t a cheap product and to order it in June and still not receive a replacement is unreasonable.
I have tried to reach out o their live chat again and still no further forward. I’ve also messaged via a watsapp number today and still no reply.
I’ve requested a formal complaint be logged and my request has been ignored. I’ve asked twice for a formal complaints ref number and even though I’ve received subsequent emails my request has been ignored.
Customer service staff seem polite via email but having said that I still haven’t received my item or a formal complaint ref number. All I seem to get is “we will contact our tech team or logistics department.”

Our next step is to contact citizens advice and request they raise a case with Trading Standards due to the unreasonable and unfair practices and the stress this is causing me. I have checked on HMRC Company’s House and the director of SKINOVATIONLAB listed is Lyath Yasin. I would like him personally to ensure I receive a replacement item. I do not want a refund as this is a birthday present which is now extremely belated! I only have this review 1 star because I had to choose a star. If and when my replacement comes and if it is not faulty and fit for purpose I will be happy to amend this review and also the star rating. My whole experience has been very stressful and inconvenient. My friends have since ordered the same item and received theirs within a week!
