Useless products

The Skin Shop Products seemed very promising (by looking at reviews) but didn’t make the slightest difference and the acne treatment pack actually made my daughter’s condition worse. My other half has eczema but again none of the creams we ordered did any good for him.
We’ve tried the following products;
•Hydrosil Turmeric Butter & Hypoallergenic Milk Salve
•Hydrosil Dry Eye Gel
•Hydrosil Dry Skin Gel with Cardiospermum
•Clarol Complete Care pack (5 different products for acne prone skin)
•Clarol Conceal & Shield
•Clarol ZnO Clear 8ml
•KALME Day Defence Cream SPF25
•KALME Chameleon Concealer
We had high hopes but I believe we can find better quality creams, cleansers and acne treatments in our local pharmacy and for cheaper. Helpline is not the most helpful one, they couldn’t give me advice on any of the products I was enquiring about. In a nutshell, I won’t waste any more money there.

Good company and great products

About 10 years ago,i read an article in The Times, that recommended the Skin Shop (UK). I'd developed terrible scalp Psoriasis. I was using a steroid liquid from the doctors that had very strong alcohol in it. Using it used to make me cry, as the stinging was so intense each time it was applied. Looking through the Skin Shop I noticed the Oregon Scalp Shampoo. I ordered it it and it arrived quickly. Within an hour of use, this shampoo calmed my scalp and the psoriasis cleared up within a couple of weeks. Never used the steroid treatment again. Just placed what must be my 5th order for the shampoo as I have a bit of a flair up (stress related). I cannot fault the products. They may seem expensive but they're high quality products and a little goes a long way. I recommend Skin Shop (UK).

Fantastic company

Fantastic company, I am surprised to see some of the poor reviews about the SkinShop as I regularly purchase creams for the treatment of psoriasis which by the way are brilliant. I can only think it must be to do with a different site. I purchase from a UK site and I had my order within 48 hours. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

There is some confusion as most of…

There is some confusion as most of these reviews on here are actually for the American Skinshop. The UK Skinshop is amazing. UK made products that are good value and really work, also next day delivery. I nearly did not buy after seeing the bad reviews, but I am so glas I did as their eye gel is a lifesaver for my dry eyes since the change.

Overcharged

I bought the “value pack”. First it was suppose to be around $64 and I got charged $84. I tried logging back in an magically I couldn’t. Tried emailing them. CAN NOT without logging in. 🙄. I’m not calling. I live in the United States. Very disappointed.

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.
I suffer from Rosacea and bought the Kalme products to which I had a reaction too.
I emailed Customer Service and I was instructed to return the items for a refund provided that they had hardly been used.
Today I received a telephone call stating that they were unable to issue a refund as stated in my email as the Customer Service Adviser had made a mistake.
I have informed the company that I will get advice on this matter.

I was surprised to read the poor…

I was surprised to read the poor reviews below. I have been using the products for a while now and after a year of steroids I have finally found products that give me real relief.
No, they will never cure me but they seriously help. I use the Hydrosil Eye Gel 2 or 3 times a day sparingly. It took a few days to work but now my eyelashes have stopped turning up, the colour has returned to normal and this certainly helps me. For my Seborrheic Dermatitis, the Oregon Anti Plaque Shampoo and conditioner have given me the first relief I have had in a year. I tried everything the Dermatologist recommended, my hair was dropping out, my chin was strting to bleed because of the steroid creams but this stuff helps. Yes, its a faff. I wash my hair over the bath so nothing touches my body as a precaution and you have to leave the conditioner on for 15 minutes but it helps ( at first I left it on for 30 minutes every other day ). I then use the Oregon Rescue Serum on my scalp line and this softens the scales left. At night I am now using the Kalme range on my face and, although these products aren't curing me, they are taking away the constant itch and as a result I feel much better than I did previously. I am so glad I did not read all the negative reviews before I ordered or I might not have tried these ranges and for me, they have given the first relief I have had in a year of serious debilitating skin problems. I still use the Dermol 500 as well as an alternative to soap.

Complete rubbish and I totally agree…

Complete rubbish and I totally agree with the other reviews. The reviews for the hydrosil ege cream claim to help those with eczema. This item and many others made my skin 20 times worse. They were also unsympathetic and unhelpful. I returned the item and only received a partial refund with no refund for the postage despite the fact the item was not sealed and half used. Overrated

Skin shop is a NO! NO!

I will get straight to the point. This company are absolutely rubbish. They sell cheap tacky items and portray them as some exclusive scientific products. I foolishly bought two products after falling for one of their online ad.

I had a reaction to one of their face wash causing me itchy bumpy skin after a few hours. I used these products to improve not ruin. I get a reply stating it can happen and went on some weird rant about I must be on medication blah blah. It was a weird reply almost felt like a lecture. How dare you without knowing my situation fully talk to me like this. No, hell no I have not been on any kind of medication.

They stated I should return products with paying the costs. Firstly you injure my skin and then have the audacity asking to pay for return. I think I’ll just Chuck these products in the bin after reading other customers voicing concerns over getting refunds. I can’t be having another headache dealing with them.

So dear customers, be aware before parting with your hard earned money.

Do not use!!!!

I ordered an expensive cream that arrived almost empty. It had a foil seal over the nozzle and no cracks in the container so was clearly a manufacturing fault. Upon contacting customer services I was made to feel like a liar and humiliated. They insist I must pay for the postage to return it!!! I asked for the postage to be paid and they argued for 15 minutes before I convinced them it was the correct business protocol. Do not use this company. You will be financially hurt!
