I purchased a promotional coupon for $690.63 at the Skin Care NYC location in Chestnut Hill. That location closed 2 weeks later. It wouldn't matter because the service I was buying the coupon for is no longer provided because they have no practitioners. Meanwhile that service is still advertised as available on their website! I've called several times and spoken to a manager at the Back Bay location and I've emailed. She said she would talk to Corporate. Nothing has been done. It's been 10 months. Do not trust this company with your money...or your time.

Hingham closure left me with unspent money on a package and they have explained I am “in queue” for a refund. Seeing the rest of the reviews with the same issue and encourage everyone to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, FTC - reportfraud.ftc.gov/ - the more people who do this the better the documentation will be. Closing a store with less than 30 days notice and stringing everyone along for refunds on this level is reportable. I have emailed multiple times and keep being told to wait.

I was an avid customer at the Hingham location and had purchased over $500 in spa packages and then was given a 30 day notice that the location was going be closing. The other locations are too far from my house, so I asked for a refund for the services that I had purchased. I was told that I would receive a refund for those packages. Unfortunately that was 2 1/2 months ago. I have called eight times, left four voicemails. I’ve spoken with three people all of which tell me that they are looking into it and someone will call me back but then no one ever calls me back. I am pissed.

Front staff was friendly. The person who worked on me was literally the best person ever! So nice. So friend. Super warm and comforting. Great bedside manner. Great convo. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer person.

Melody was just fabulous! She was very professional/friendly and she did a fantastic job doing my full leg laser hair removal. This salon is clean, stylish, and has excellent equipment. Melody did a fantastic job explaining the entire procedure to me as well as what to expect next. My legs look great and there's absolutely no pain. I'll be returning for another laser session next month with Melody.

To begin with, my appointment was postponed 15 minutes, and when I arrived there I waited an additional 15 minutes.
Used the toilet: no toilet paper and no paper towels.
Then, the icing on the cake: worst waxing experience ever! Not only my esthetician did a terrible job, she was also extremely rude to me. She pretty much did not say a word to me for the entire time (and there was no ambiance music, so kind of awkward...), but when she finished I noticed patches of hair left behind pretty much all over my legs (I took pictures, so I can prove it), and when I asked her to remove it, she literally told me "Honey, we already went trough 2 cans of wax, the wax is finished, if you need a touch up book another appointment". Give yourself a favor: avoid this place.

I have been coming to Skin Spa Boston Back Bay location for years! I moved out of state a couple of years ago and was thrilled to be able to come back to this location for my massages, waxing, and facials! The staff is amazing and they are very friendly! I would name my massage therapist, but I don’t want everyone taking all of her appointments! Just know she is the best! 😊

I’ve been a member for a year and absolutely love the professionals I’ve seen at Skin Spa! I’ve gotten facials, massages, and laser and have learned so much about these services from the professionals I regularly see, who do their best to cater the service to my needs and recommend the best regiments to maintain the effects of their work.

I love going to the Skin Spa in Back Bay. My aesthetician, Kim, is very knowledge about working with skin of color. The staff are very friendly as well.

Marissa made my experience wonderful and peaceful.

When I did my first ever facial at Skin Spa, the employees were so nice and Evelynn did an amazing job taking me step-by-step during my facial since it was my first time. The facial was so relaxing and calm, I completely recommend this place. It is also a Medi-Spa which I think is pretty important information. Scheduling my appointments is also such a breeze! You cannot go wrong when you go the Skin Spa.

My favorite Skin Spa location is the Boston one! Everyone at the front desk is accomodating, sweet, friendly, and understanding! They make every guest feel like a VIP! Jovanie is my favorite esthetician and really loves her job and cares about her clients. Plus you can't beat their package deals and monthly memberships.
